Neopets Array of Bytes (AoB) Guide

Neopets AoB, or Neopets Array of Bytes, is a form of hacking the Neopets Games. With the help of cheat engine, you’re able to modify aspects of games, and work them to your advantage! It has recently gained much popularity over Neopets Score Senders as of late, as it’s much safer and won’t get your account banned!

What is Array of Bytes (Neopets AoB)

Array of Bytes (commonly abbreviated as AoB) is basically an area of memory that contains a group of side-by-side bytes. A group of them is generally considered an “Address”. These addresses contain data in how the game works. IE: When you hit a wall in Meerca Chase II, ect. By editing these addresses we can change the behavior of the game. For example: We can edit the value of the memory in the game by changing the address so when we hit a wall in Meerca Chase 2, instead of being game over we just proceed right on through the wall and continue the game.

Neopets AoB vs Neopets Score Sender

There are basically two ways to cheat the flash games on Neopets: Array of Bytes, or Score Sender. Both have their perks:

Neopets Score Sender

  • Able to load more than 1 game via list.
  • Fully automated to play the game for you.
  • Easy to use, takes next to no effort to use.

Neopets Array of Bytes

  • Let’s you control what happens in the game still
  • Gives you more control over the time and score being sent
  • Looks / Feels more legit since you are playing the game still.

With that being said, a lot of people often still ask which is better / safer to use. These are two different answers, depending on what you’re aiming for. Mass NP gain? Score Sender. Avatars / Trophies? AoB. In terms of what is safer to use, AoB is. This is because you’re still playing the game yourself, so the time is more accurate, you’re able to control your score, if you’re aiming for trophies, etc. you can stop at any time.

How To Use Neopets Array of Bytes

Tools you’ll need:

STEP 1: Go to the game page in which you want to AoB on.

In this example, and guide, I’m going to be using Meerca Chase II. So after logging into Neo, navigate to the game page. Hit the initial “Play” too get onto the main screen of the game, but not where you’re actually playing the game:

1

STEP 2: Open up Cheat Engine and find the process.

Open up Cheat Engine. Upon opening it, you will see a Computer with a magnifying glass in the upper left hand corner. This is what we will use to find our process (or where the game is playing to make it easier). Now, finding the process depends on what browser you are using (Firefox, Chrome, IE, Safari, etc.) In this guide, I’ll be using Chrome, which is a little bit longer than other browsers due to Chrome having around 6 processes. Below are the steps to take to find your process in which the game is located:

CHROME

  • Open up a new tab and type in “chrome://memory-redirect/” into the URL. This will bring up a browser memory page with a list of PIDs.
  • Locate “Shockwave Flash” and write down the PID to the left of it.

2

  • Now, open or google a DEC to HEX Converter (Note: Windows has one built into their calculator, so open that on up if you have it).
  • If you’re using the Windows Calculator change it from “Standard” to “Programmer”, otherwise.
  • Next, make sure “Dec” is selected, and enter the PID of the Shockwave Flash.
  • If youre using a calculator that automatically updates, check the Hex value. If not, then after inputting your dec number, change it to Hex. For example, in the image above you can see my PID is 69450. After inputting into the DEC, the HEX shows as 10FA4.

3

  • Right down the HEX number. This will be your “process ID”. In this example, mine was 10FA4.
  • Now go back to Cheat Engine, and hit the Computer Icon with the Magnifying Glass in the upper left hand corner.
  • This will bring up a list of the processes Cheat Engine can attach itself to. Find the one that matches the Hex you just got. (All the processes will start with 3 0s, so look past those). After finding it, select it and hit open! You now are attached to your process.

4

FIREFOX

  • Thankfully this is the easiest thing in the world to find with Firefox!
  • With Firefox open, and the game on the Play page (the one where the game is already loaded), click the computer icon with the magnifying glass on Cheat Engine.
  • Look for just “FlaskPlayerPlugin”. If there is 2, select the bottom one. This is the one I have always found to work. If you can’t find the AoB, then you might need to try selecting the other one.

5

SAFARI

  • Another easy one for MAC users. First Off, make sure you downloaded CE for MAC (Though, since you’re looking at this step, you should already have it downloaded and opened).
  • Next, hit the Computer Monitor with Magnifying Glass in the upper left corner. From here, find the process called “PluginProcess”. Hit open to attach it to the process! (Sorry, no picture for this one as I don’t have a MAC. But its pretty simple 1 step process).

STEP 3: Changing and Finding the Neopets AoB

Finally, the step you all really came to the guide for! By now you should have found the process, and attached cheat engine to it. Your screen should look similar to this:

6

If it doesn’t, retrace your steps and make sure you find the process carefully! Now to selecting AoB and editing the value!

  • Start off by changing the Value Type to “Array of Byte”.
  • Now, with the hell of the included list, find the AoB you need to first find. Input that into the Array of byte box and hit the “First Scan” button. For example, Meerca Chase II has a “No collision with tail, walls, and eggs” AoB.

7

  • So here we will search for “9D 02 00 0D 00 96 08 00 04 01 08 0A 04 01 08 ?”
  • If the AoB is still working, and you have the right process, you should get some addresses up in the left side panel. This could range from 1+. For Meerca Chase, we get 6.
  • Click on all the address(es) (Note: hold control and click on each one to select them all) and then click on the red diagonal arrow to the bottom of the box. This will drop all the addresses below.

8

  • Now from there, we want to select all the addresses in the bottom, and change them to what we have in the “REPLACE WITH” part of the AoB from the guide. (This example, its 99 02 00 0D 00 96 08 00 04 01 08 0A 04 01 08 ?).
  • To do this, we select all the addresses again, right click, and go to Change Record > Value, then paste the new AoB in.

9

  • After that, make sure each one is checked in the check marks to the left of them. This activates the AoB. Once that is done, start the game and play! You should now see youre AoB working!

Kass Basher Cheats

Kass Basher is an easy to learn Action game that allows you take all of your frustrations out on an innocent plushie who has been modeled after the not-so-innocent evil Lord Kass. After everything he did to Meridell it is no surprise that the locals decided to set up a batting range in his honor. In this game, you have the use the controls to hit the plushie with one of three bats found on one of the three difficulty levels. The distance in which the plushie travels amounts to the points received at the end of the round, and you only get one shot to hit the object per game. If you get a high enough score, you could win a trophy, or even the Kass Basher avatar!

Kass Basher Instructions

229_whack01-6084621You control a blue Blumaroo who has stepped up to the batting plate somewhere in Meridell. He is positioned underneath a tree, and on the overhanging branch is the Lord Kass Plushie that you must hit across the field in order to win. You use the left mouse button or spacebar to drop the plushie from the tree, and then hit either button again to swing before it reaches the ground. In the bottom left corner you can find the wind speed indicator, which can drastically effect how far the object travels. The wind changes constantly throughout the round, reaching anywhere from the highest speed of 9MPH or the lowest speed -9MPH. The flag attached to the branch shows in which direction the wind is blowing: positive numbers blow from right to left, and negative numbers blow from left to right.

When you start the game, you are given the choice between three difficulty levels in which you can play. However, each stage has to be unlocked by playing the previous one and achieving the desired score. Each difficulty gives you a different batting weapon, and the speed in which the plushie falls from the branch increases with the harder the game gets. Below is a list of each level, what type of battling tool you use, as well as the score needed to unlock it.

Difficulty

Batting Tool

Notes

2-3319370Easy Mode Bread Unlocked at Start of Game
1-2573793Normal Mode Wooden Stick Reach a distance of 175 meters on Easy Mode to unlock.
3-7030589Hard Mode Spiked Club Reach a distance of 450 meters on Normal Mode to unlock.

Randomly during the game, you may also encounter the Blumaroo to be holding a tree as the bat. This is a very uncommon event but can help you reach a score worthy of the High Scores Table. So when this appears, make sure not to waste the opportunity! Additionally, you can also control how taunt the cape of the plushie is while it is flying through the air. To do this, you simply hold down the proper button to keep the cape down, and release to let it flap in the wind. By utilizing this feature properly, you can increase the distance in which the plushie travels. You can also click the mouse or hit the spacebar as the plushie lands to create an extra bounce.

Kass Basher Scoring

As stated earlier, you only get one chance to hit the plushie per game. The moment it hits the ground, or after the final bounce, the round is ended and you can either send your score or try again. After you hit the object with your bat it will soar through the air over the field. There will be markers on the ground that indicate how far it has traveled. Once the plushie comes to a complete stop on the ground a little helpful Turtum will arrive to mark its place. You can make him hurry up and go a little faster by clicking anywhere on the screen. The Turtum can also sometimes be replaced by a Drackonak. This happens when you click on a small rock that appears near the 820 meter mark, and he will then be the petpet that marks your spot. Doing this will in no way alter your score or the game, but it is a fun little thing to do if you’ve mastered Kass Basher already. The scoring system of this game is simple to say the least. If you hit the plushie 372 meters, you have 372 points and so forth.

Kass Basher Tips

If you are attempting a high score, it is best to always play on Hard Mode. In this difficulty, you are given a spiked club that can whack the kass harder and farther than the batting tools before it.

In order to achieve the highest possible score you must hit the plushie as far as it can go in one shot. This is done easier by making sure you hit the object in just the right time on just the right spot. The majority of players suggest waiting until you can whack the tip of the Kass’ beak, or after it reaches the tip of the Blumaroo’s ears. This allows the bat to connect almost perfectly with the plushie and send it soaring! It will give you a great angle and even better elevation so that you have the opportunity to manipulate the landing. This is best done with practice, as the speed in which the plushie falls differs from each difficulty. Where you may master whacking the beak on normal, hard mode can prove a more difficult challenge.

Another thing to note is that the wind speed can drastically effect how far the plushie will travel. You should always wait until the speed indicator is at the highest possible point: 9MPH. If the wind starts low and continues to drop, with no rise in sight, it is best to start the game over and try again. Usually it will fluctuate anywhere from two to three speeds either way, so it is best to shoot for a higher number to begin with, and then wait for it to reach its peak.

The moment the plushie has been sent flying, remember to hold down the left mouse button or spacebar the keep the cape taunt and secure. This will allow the object to soar freely as it is more aerodynamic, greatly lessening the drag from the air. Once the plushie has stopped ascending you may release the button and let him slowly descend toward the ground. Letting the cape flap around as it falls allows the plushie to travel farther by catching the wind drafts. When the object is finally reaching the ground (hopefully a great distance away from the starting point) you can still manage to squeeze in a few more meters. You can bounce the plushie by pressing and holding your desired button the moment it touches down, and then releasing again once it stops ascending, much like when you first hit it. Do this until you can bounce it no longer and it comes to a complete stop. It is possible to achieve a total of six possible bounces if done correctly.

Tip #1 Always wait until windspeed is at 9. ALWAYS.

I don’t care if it takes a few minutes. I don’t care if it takes thirty minutes – just wait for that windspeed to hit 9. Usually the speed increases by two, so if it starts out at an odd number, and especially if it starts out high, like 5 or 7, your chances of hitting 9 are higher. If it’s at 8, it can only go to 7 or 6, and if it goes to 7, there’s the chance it’ll become 9. This might be a little confusing, but when you’re playing, just keep in mind that your magic number in this game is NINE.

Tip #2: Whack Kass at the Oppurtune Moment

Through experience, I’ve found that hitting the Kass when it’s at your Blumaroo’s ears is about the perfect height. Not only does your bat connect wonderfully with the poor puppet, the higher elevation also gives you more air time, allowing the Kass to travel further. This, however, is easier said than done. It does take some practice and concentration, but you should get the hang of it in no time. Besides, another try is just a click away!

Tip #3: All Hail the Spacebar/Left Click!

Excuse that incredibly lame previous sentence. But it does get the message through, because lucky tip number three is going to be your best friend at passing levels and whacking the Kass out of this world (Literally. Well..not quite.) Alright, enough blabbing on and on. Here’s the deal: Immediately after whacking Kass, either press down the spacebar or re-click and hold down the left click mouse button. Both have the same result, so just do whatever you feel more comfortable with. The effect? Your airborn Kass will keep his wings tucked in during flight, so that all his silly flapping won’t interfere with your flight on the way up. Keep your spacebar/mouse pressed down until the Kass reaches his peak. Then, LET GO once he starts to descend, allowing him to flap away! This strategy will guarantee your Kass to fly much, much further.

After a satisfyingly loud thwack!, the perfect use of the spacebar/mouse technique and a beautiful, long descent, you’d think your username was up on that high- score list, right? Well…not exactly. See…the Kass puppet is like a sort of ugly tennis ball. It’s bouncy. And bouncy mean it’ll go back in the air. And going back in the air means…yup, more holding- down-the-wings. *insert collective groan here* This time, though, it’s much trickier. Your Kass isn’t in the sky for 4 seconds – it’s airborne for much less time! So here’s what to do: When you see your Kass falling towards the ground from his long flight, get ready to click/tap the spacebar. As soon as you hear him bounce, click/tap and hold down for about a second the first time, or for however long it takes him to reach his “peak”, which is very small and quick. After this first bounce, he may bounce even more! So don’t relax – instead, use your good judgement to decide when to click and when to let go. Usually, the bouncing airtime doesn’t even exceed a few seconds. Bounces, seemingly innocent and little, actually wind up helping your Kass go a lot further in the long run. My record so far is 5 bounces after one hit – pretty neat, huh?

Tip #4: Practice = Perfection

Yup, you saw this one coming. Whack-A-Kass, to the normal person (well, not that we’re abnormal or anything), appears to be very straightforward – you grab a stick and hit the falling puppet. Nothing could be easier, right? But after reading this guide, you’ve probably come to realize that there are a few skills to master, a few tricks to keep in mind. But put my tips and your practice together, and in the end you WILL pass that tricky second level and eventually get loads of NPs and a great score from this game! I would guarantee this but I’d probably get a zillion lawsuits the next morning. So practice, practice, PRACTICE!

Kass Basher Cheats

Step 1: Wind Speed
Wait until the wind is at 9 meters per second. It’s the hardest the wind will blow, and anything under 9 doesn’t get kass high enough. I’m impatient, so if the wind’s blowing the wrong way (negative) or it’s dying instead of blowing harder, I make kass fall out of the tree, and I start over.
Step 2: Crack his beak!
Hit kass just above that hill that I colored yellow. I took that screenshot by hitting the screenshot button instead of the space bar (or mouse click). So that’s the exact place I hit kass. If I am slow and hit him below that hill, I scrap that hit.
Step 3: Ascent
As kass is ascending, hold the space bar or mouse button down to keep kass’ wings flat. With his wings flat, kass goes faster because the wind resistance is less.
Step 4: Peak
As soon as kass stops ascending and he turns so he’s parallel with the land, let go of the space bar or mouse button. His wings will start to flap and slow him down as he descends.
Step 5: Descent
There’s nothing you can do here to help your score. But I check the clouds on the descent to be sure kass went as high as I could get him. If he doesn’t pass the clouds right, I nose dive him and slam him into the ground! He should skim the top of the two clouds he passes:
Step 6: Bounce
This is the part that’ll take practice. In this screenshot, kass has not hit the ground yet. He comes in from the descent, and right before he hits the ground, I hit the space bar. This step isn’t over yet. Sometimes I can get more bounces than the normal three out of him. But if I can’t, then I at least try to get more mileage (er..meterage) from those three bounces. Using the same concept that kass goes faster with his wings flat, I try to hold them down as he rises in each bounce, and let go while he’s falling back down. You can imagine how this might be tricky since the bounces happen within seconds. Practicing this will get you used to knowing when to hold the space bar or mouse button. Here’s a tip: if you have access to a slower computer, try playing this game on it. My old computer was much slower, and I could control kass’ wings more precisely.
Step 7: Skid
After he’s finished bouncing, it’s easy. I just added this step to advise you to hold kass’ wings down as he skids. It’s the wind resistance thing again.  But be sure not to hold the space bar or mouse button after the turtum brings out your score because it will start the game over without giving you the choice to send your score!

Kass Basher Avatar

whackedkass-5735247There is a chance to obtain an avatar while playing this game! Though not entirely difficult, you need to know the best tricks in order to hit the required score of 850 points. The best way to get this avatar is to follow the tips listed below. You can follow them in detail by reading the above section.

  • Play on Hard Mode difficulty with the Spiked Club.
  • Wait until the wind speed is at 9MPH.
  • Hit the plushie across the beak.
  • Keep the cape taunt when ascending, let it free while falling.
  • Try to bounce the plushie each time it hits the ground.

Conclusion

You are now well on your way to becoming a Kass Bashing champion! With the tips, tricks, and knowledge learned in this guide it will be a piece of cake to get that trophy you’ve been dreaming of. Just remember to have fun while you’re at it, and make that evil Lord Kass pay for everything he has done to the people of Meridell.

Neopets Sewage Surfer Guide

Sewage surfer is a puzzle game. You will be presented with a puzzle and have to place the pipes to complete a circuit from the start to the exit without any gaps. All the possible pieces are below:

The gamepage looks like this:

1. The puzzle – this is where you place the pieces with a left click
2. The next pieces for placing
3. The number of discards you have left for the level
4. Quit the game (do not press!)
5. Restart the level
6. Start the flow (only press when you have completed the puzzle)
7. Discard piece – discards the next piece so you don’t have to use it

There are some important items to note:

• On each level you will only get certain pieces. For example, many levels do not have the 4-way piece available
• When you play a level, the order in which you are given pieces and the mix of pieces will, in most instances, change if you replay the level. For example, first time through you may get:

Second time through you may get

• If you fail a level or choose to restart a level you lose 50 points. A gold trophy score is in the region of 30,000 so its not the end of the world and it is very unlikely you will do all 50 levels without having to restart some puzzles, and often will have to restart the same puzzle a few times
• Sometimes the game gives you pieces which are impossible to complete the level with. It’s annoying but there is nothing you can do about it except restart and hope for better pieces next time
• If you have run out of discards you can place pieces into blank spaces you don’t need instead. These pieces lose you points

Avatar

There is an avatar available for sewage surfer sewage_surfer-7385590

To obtain this you have to play all the way through to level 50 and then quit. It does not matter what your score is, you will have the avatar. So if you are playing for the avatar, do the simplest solutions you can. This is not what this guide is aimed at, we are going for a trophy and need a high score. If you want a guide to help you in getting the avatar, I recommend:

Sewage Surfer Avvie Guide – Simple Solutions

Now it is possible you can follow my guide and get a trophy before reaching level 50 and then quit to get the avatar too. It will take longer to get the avatar though and clearly without the last level it makes it harder to get a high score. To maximize your chances it is important you know how the high score table works.

High Score Table

Upon completing a level you obtain a score for that level, this is added to the scores you got for previous levels and gives your current total. So if I have 50 points for completing level 1 and then 80 for level 2 my total score at that point is 130. To record a score in a month you have to complete a level in that month. The level you are working on is carried over from the previous month, for example if I complete 10 levels in this month then when I play the following month I will start on level 11 and my cumulative score will also be carried over.

It is also important to note that your score only updates to the high score table when you complete a level divisible by 5 (ie when you complete levels 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50).

So for example, if you want to try to get the avatar and trophy in one go, play all the way through completing level 44 using this guide. Place all the pieces for level 45 but do not press the button to complete the level (unless you are confident your score is good enough for a trophy based on the high score table at the moment). On the first day of the next month when the high score tables have cleared, complete level 45 which will submit your score to level 45 score for the month. Wait until the following day and then play through to level 50 and quit level 50 and you get your avatar. If you are lucky and have scored really well and other scores on the high score table are very low you might get a bronze for your level 45 score. However, getting on the highscore table when others may have completed all 50 levels is going to be very tough. I recommend play through for the avvie quickly and then play again for a trophy score.

I’m not certain you have to wait a day, I suspect the score you had upon completing level 45 would stay on the high score table even if you quit, but I have not tried it and having slogged your way through 45 levels I suggest you wait a day before quitting, just in case. If anyone can confirm this please let me know.

How to Get a High Score

The secret to getting a high score is simple. Every piece you use as part of the solution gives you points. The more pieces you use in a solution the better. I haven’t managed to work out how much each piece is worth, I believe the junctions are worth more than curves are worth more than straights but if anyone knows and can mail me that would be great. Not knowing this didn’t stop me from getting a gold trophy and frankly its probably a level of complexity too far, its hard enough try to complete the puzzles without worrying about this too. You use the pieces it gives you and hope you don’t run out! Every piece you place which does not form part of the solution loses you points. Restarting a level loses 50 points, as does starting the sewage flow when the pipe network was not complete. So basically to get a high score use loads of pieces, never place any you don’t need and never restart or fail a level. Unfortunately it’s not quite that simple.

You will have to make judgment calls. Some levels only get you around 100 points. Others give you 2000. It may be worth restarting a high scoring level and losing 50 points in the hope of a really high scoring solution. In the case of a low scoring level you may go for a simpler solution to avoid failing the level and losing 50 points. There is no hard and fast rule on this. Clearly if you fail a level and then get the perfect pieces so you score 500 more it was a great decision. However, if it then gives you 10 games with the wrong pieces, you lose 500 and end up with the same solution you had before, it wasn’t so good.

As a rule of thumb, if the level scores over 1000 I try very hard to get a high score on the level. There aren’t many that score that high and for a trophy we need the points so it’s a calculated risk. 500 to 1000 I look for at least a good if not great solution. Below 500 I just make sure I don’t fail them if at all possible and get the best solution I can.

Here is a picture of the high score table after I finished walking through all the levels and completed level 50. Ended up third, pretty good considering I restarted so often. You can see w0x0x in first place – beaten again! And there in tenth lies my guild leader – what a small world.

A quick note regarding grandmaster status for sewage surfer. You need a score of over 40,000 which unless you had perfect solutions throughout is impossible. There were some occasions in the past when the database glitched and everyones game was reset to level 1 but their score at that point was kept. w0x0x had just completed level 49 when it did this and therefore got to restart at level 1 from a 49th level score (I’m not jealous). Personally I would say anything over 32,000 should be a grandmaster score but for the moment its not so lets just focus on the trophy and hope neopets have a change of heart.

Solutions to levels

Below are high scoring solutions to every level. I have indicated where I believe that this is definitely the solution to go for (for example Level 1 can only be solved in one way).

However, and this is very important, for most levels your solution will not be exactly the same. It depends upon the pieces you are given.

Use the solutions as a guide on how to get a high score for the level but you have to react to the pieces you have been given. If you just blindly try to copy my exact solutions you will fail levels so often (and lose 50 points each time) that you will not get a trophy.

On many levels you can score more than I did – I am not pretending the solutions below are an exhaustive list of the best solutions – they aren’t. However, I did restart very often until I got a high score for each level to create this guide. In terms of getting a high overall score I would have been better off scoring a lower score on some levels and not failing so often. This is up to you to decide.

If anyone believes one of my levels to be horribly flawed and a much higher score is possible please let me know, I’m not too interested in the fact you got 20 points more for the purposes of this guide (although I am very happy for you!), as I said above, they illustrate how to approach the levels and hopefully get a trophy.

Here are my solutions, best of luck, I love feedback, let me know how it goes, thanks:

Level 1 – this is the only solution

Level 2 – go under or over

Level 3 – high score solution

Level 4 – go over or under

Level 5 – could score a little higher with more turns

Level 6 – high score solution but could go down instead

Level 7 – high score solution

Level 8 – high score solution

Level 9 – high score solution

Level 10 – high score solution (you could not do one corner if you want to make it easier)

Level 11 – can be done many ways but basic principle is shown

Level 12 – can be done many ways but basic principle is shown

Level 13 – Important level – you can score a lot of points here – the basic priciple is shown, fill the board and use as many pieces as possible – shame I ran out of discards and had to dump some in gaps

Level 14 – this is the only solution

Level 15 – this is the only solution (it tries to trick you that you can complete the big loop with the first piece but you can’t)

Level 16 – this is the only solution (I think) It is a maze – other routes loop on themselves and you get stuck but happy to be proved wrong

Level 17 – basic principle shown – depends on the pieces you get. Level is not that high scoring – don’t fail it too often!

Level 18 – the only solution is down or up as shown – shame I ran out of discards and had to dump a piece

Level 19 – basic priniple shown, put the verticals in the middle first as they are the only pieces that can go there. Plan the routes down the sides to make sure they can join up

Level 20 – lots of ways to do this but basic priniple shown. Try to link all the loops together but you have to work with the pieces it gives you – easy to fail this as you have little spare room for unwanted pieces at the end

Level 21 – high score solution

Level 22 – could have scored higher by extending the loops further left

Level 23 – high score solution – definitely go for this, it gives you the pieces within a few goes and is worth the points in my opinion

Level 24 – high score solution – again I always play for this even if I have to restrt a few times

Level 25 – basic principle shown but can be done better

Level 26 – loops around the top and bottom always required – how you join them up depends on the pieces you get

Level 27 – not a bad solution – shows the basic principle of how to fill the spaces

Level 28 – high score solution

Level 29 – high score solution

Level 30 – high score solution – could score a little more by filling the extra spaces but risky

Level 31 – this was a high scoring solution but this level depends very much on the pieces you get – take care to make sure you can join it all up and go for the small loops

Level 32 – good solution – could perhaps score a little higher if you joined up all three at both ends

Level 33 – good solution – clearly you could make the side loops longer but this level is easy to fail (as you can see from my discarded pieces I nearly failed that go too)

Level 34 – high score solution

Level 35 – this is an ok solution – in my defence I had failed this so often and I was tired and grumpy so I just wanted to complete it! Should really have joined up the arm in the bottom middle part and extended the pipes at the ends but you can see the shape of it

Level 36 – good solution – could add a few more lopps in for an extra few points

Level 37 – there may be a better solution than this but I haven’t found it. If you take the loops away to try and extend them it seems impossible to joi them back up so I stick with this solution

Level 38 – basic principle shown but depending on the pieces how you join the outside to the inside can vary and you could add a kink at the bottom, see what pieces you get dealt

Level 39 – look at this puzzle as a top and bottom half. If you join up to the entrance by going left, you have to form a small loop to the right side. The same is true of linking to the exit. The basic principle is shown, hopefully you can see what I mean

Level 40 – high scoring level and can be done many ways. I try to sort out a section at a time. Just lay as many pieces as you can whilst minimising discards. The solution is a good example of roughly how mine look but it can vary somewhat

Level 41 – good solution, form lots of small loops to maximise the amount of pieces you use

Level 42 – basic principle shown – its quite easy to fail this level and its not that high scoring so beware

Level 43 – good solution – the final pattern will depend somewhat on how many cross pieces you get but this is a solid example of how to get a good score

Level 44 – good example of the basic pattern although a few more discards than I would like but better than failing the level

Level 45 – this is the only solution

Level 46 – good solution – you could try and extend the top loop

Level 47 – good solution – could be done other ways but my solutions are always very close to this

Level 48 – yuk – an ok solution I suppose but I can’t tell you how easy this level is to fail. For a high score run off the arms as far as possible and get it all to join up but I really would just try and get something ok down and move on

Level 49 – good solution – you only get curves in two directions so its not easy to link it all up. I would recommend linking the entrance to exit as soon as possible and then run off the arms for points afterwards

Level 50 – good solution – follow the basic pattern but note you do not get any discards so you have to work with what it gives you

Finished! Hopefully you are sat on the high score table and come tomorrow you will have a nice shiny new trophy!

Ice Cream Machine Neopets

507-vj98rjiIce Cream Machine is a fast-paced game where you play as a cute chia named Adee. Yes, “Cute Chia” is generally an oxymoron, but I like to think that Adee is the one exception. Basically, the premise of Ice Cream Machine is that you are Adee, and having some crazy dreams about killer ice cream! And by “killer” I don’t mean delicious. If Adee gets hit by these ice cream scoops she eventually dies. Who knew Neopets could be so morbid? Anyway, the goal is to move Adee around the screen and avoid hitting the melty gobs of dairy goodness. There are, however, scoops that you can hit. These ones won’t kill Adee. In fact, they’ll give her a power up! Ice Cream Machine Neopets is a very popular game that offers three different trophies and an avatar!trophies

Ice Cream Machine Basics

contestant383So my lofty introduction didn’t scare you away? Great! Guess you’re taking this seriously enough to learn the basics. First things first: in each level you will face a different flavour of ice cream. As each level progresses, they begin to increase in speed, and quantity. It’s your job to dodge them any way you can. When you successfully dodge a scoop, it will exit through the top of the screen and be added to your final score. You start out with 3 lives. Hitting an ice cream scoop will take one away. But don’t fret! You can earn lives back, along with many other power-ups. This will be explained more in depth later on in the guide. Lastly, to control Adee, all you have to do is move your mouse around the screen.

The Inside Scoop on Scoops

n507-1957579Below are helpful guides that will tell you everything you need to know about the different scoops that you encounter in the game! Learn these before playing, so you can be prepared.

Ice Cream Machine Power-Ups

Every power-up in Ice Cream Machine can be a good power-up. It all depends on the type of situation you are in. For example, a speed increase might seem bad to some people, but if you have quick reflexes, it helps the levels go by quicker. To reap the rewards of these scoops, you must allow them to crash into you. This might throw you off, but just make sure you’re ONLY crashing into the power-up scoops.

screenshot_thumbnail_507_2_v1In addition, some of the power-ups stack, and some cancel each other out. A good example is the speed increasers and speed decreasers. The more increasers/decreasers you pick up, the faster/slower the ice cream scoops will go. Of course, they do eventually wear off, so don’t expect the power-ups to last forever. Typically, they will last a few seconds.

The ones that do not stack with other power-ups, and can be cancelled out, are the size ups and size downs. While picking up multiple of these will cause you to continue to shrink smaller, and smaller, or larger, and larger, if you pick up any other power ups during this time, you will go back to your original size. The only exception to this is the shield. Your shield remains for 5 seconds. When it starts to deteriorate it will turn red, so make sure that you are in a safe zone as soon as you notice the color change.

Ice Cream Machine Positioning

UntitledIf you want to score a lot of points, you will need to perfect your positioning. That is the most important skill to learn while playing this game. The best place to have Adee is in the dead center of the page, anywhere in the red circle that I’ve put around Adee. This position gives you the maximum space to move freely and dodge. In the middle you are far away from the ice creams, but not too close to the top of the screen, and also won’t get boxed in by the right and left edges.  If you do happen to get yourself cornered, there is a solution that occasionally works, but not always. Use this technique only if you will lose a life otherwise. First, move your cursor off of the game screen. Then, bring it back on the screen, into a safe spot away from ice creams. It’s possible that Adee will jump from her prior location to that one. As was said before, this doesn’t work all the time. But sometime’s it’s a better bet than facing some incoming scoops.

Ice Cream Machine Neopets Avatar

icecreammachine-4603376

To get the avatar for this game, you must send a score of more than 14,500. You can achieve this by finishing all of the levels, and collecting at least one point over the minimum points you can earn. This is easy, because it’s practically impossible to not collect bonuses throughout the levels.

Neopets Ice Cream Machine Cheats

To send you off, here are some useful tips that will help improve your game play:1165

  • Using speed decreaser power-ups can cause back ups with ice cream scoops that are impossible to dodge
  • There is generally no benefit to increasing Adee’s size. Try to avoid this power-up if you can
  • Using the strawberry bomb increases the amount of time you must spend playing the game, as you do not receive any points from the cleared scoops
  • Speed increases can help decrease your time spent playing, as long as you are comfortable enough to dodge.

Neopets-Cheats.com does not endorse playing around in ice cream factories, or dumping scoops of the product on your face.

Turmac Roll Neopets Cheats

Turmac Roll is a simple game in which you play as a turmac who rolls around through hilly fields collecting berries. Mastering Turmac Roll is fairly easy once you get the hang of it, and learn how to predict what comes next.  There are various berries that are worth different amounts of points, and certain obstacles can be used to predict what’s coming next. Unfortunately, Neopets Turmac Roll does not award an avatar, but you could take home one of three trophies.

Starting Turmac Roll

366_bn32r8To start out, you can choose to play on easy, medium, or hard. On easy, berries give you the regular amount of points. On medium, they give you 2x the point value, and on hard you receive 3x the point value. Each mode goes faster than the one before, and presents more obstacles. It’s best to start with easy and work your way up as you get comfortable with the different speeds.

As time passes, you are awarded points. In easy mode, you get 1 point routinely, on medium, 2 points, and on hard: 3. You also receive points from gathering berries. The point value of berries are listed later on in the guide.

Game Controls

Movement is controlled via the arrow keys on your keyboard. The right key will give you more speed, and the left key will give you less speed. If you’d like to jump, press the up key. To land more quickly, press the down key.

Playing Turmac Roll

rolling_turmac_rollAlright! So you’ve got a basic run down of the game. You know your movement keys, you know how to gain points, and you’re ready to start playing on your chosen difficulty. There are several strategies and tips you can utilize to make the most out of your experience. However, the first thing that you should come to expect is that the game always starts with the same sequence. Three Hills, flat ground, three berries, a stump, and then two more berries. After this, the game will become random. But don’t lose all hope! There are still some sequences that can help you predict what’s going to come next.

Scenery Sequences

  1. Repetitive Hills: You’ll likely see this pattern a lot. There will be several hills, with berries in between some of them (but not all) near the top. The best thing to do for this is try to find a pattern of jumping which allows you to get one berry, and then stick to that pattern. If you do that, you will get each berry that comes in the sequence after this, as well as a berry on a grassy flat that follows.Untitled
  2. The Repetitive Hills’s Evil Twin: This is very similar to the sequence listed above, but instead of the berry being at the top of the hill, it’s at the bottom. The thing to worry about with this one, is that there will be a small stump coming up after you’ve finished the sequence. It’s not hard to jump over, but definitely something to keep your eye out for.4
  3. Lumpy “M” Shaped Hill: This seems like a weird name, but this hill really does look like a dejected, droopy M. It’s generally pretty safe to assume that this hill is a bad omen. Expect to see something that you will need to jump over, such as a stump, or a small, sharp ledge. The best way to avoid this is to jump right before the dip.screenshot_fullsize_366_2_v1
  4. Indented Hill: This one is super easy. Just roll off the edge like normal. Whatever comes after this will be either close enough that you won’t have to jump, or far away enough to give you time to jump normally.2

Other Turmac Roll Obstacles

  • Mud Puddles: Don’t worry too much about these. They don’t do anything to you, they’re just like rolling on grass. However, they are usually accompanied by a sharp ledge.
  • Sharp Ledges: The ledges come in various sizes, but all are equally deadly. Hitting sharp ledges will end your game.Mud
  • Tree Trunks: Hitting a tree trunk will end your game. The best thing to do is jump over them if you can, or jump on top of them and then quickly jump again.Jump

Turmac Roll Neopets Cheats

3 (1)That’s about all there is to know about the game. Neopets Turmac Roll is one of the easier games to learn, and one of the most popular. If you follow these tips and experience some good luck, you’ll be able to land yourself a trophy. Typically, the Neopoints ratio for this game is similar to the amount of points you get. By this, I mean, you usually get a little bit more or a little bit less than however many points you score. So, usually you need to score around 1,000 points in order to get 1,000 neopoints. Start practicing, and you’ll be a pro in no time.

Note: Ask your parents before rolling around in grassy fields and eating strange berries
