Mysterious Morphing Experiments MME Guide

Mysterious Morphing Experiments are NC items that morph into other NC items…what?! That’s right! These mysterious items grant buyers multiple items for a great price, but under some spooky conditions.

Mysterious Morphing ExperimentsNeopets MME

WHAT ARE Mysterious Morphing Experiment EXACTLY?

To put it simply: MMEs are limited-time items that you purchase in the NC Mall (for real money) that morph into different items over the course of a few days, and the result is a set of items that you get to keep. There are MMEs and Mini-MMEs, and the latter has fewer stages of transformation and is therefore cheaper.

Actually, it’s more complicated than that, but you get the jist of the jist, right? Let’s go into more detail.

FINDING AND PURCHASING MMEs & MiniMMEs

MMEs are not always available. They are limited-time items that appear in the NC Mall for about a week:

ncmall_mysterious_morphing2-9792156

mall_minimme10_genielampques-4756546

Apart from the fact they have the MME acronym at the beginning of the item name (ex. MME2: Mystical Rain Shower), they can also be identified by the question mark at the bottom right-hand corner of the image, as seen in the examples above.

  • MMEs: 600 – 800 NC
  • MiniMMEs: 300 – 350 NC

THE MME MORPHING BEGINS

While MMEs are still available in the NC Mall, they will not morph. This gives everyone equal playing field as to the randomness of the morphs they do receive.

This is where things start to get complicated. Heh.

After the MME retires from the NC Mall, the items will begin morphing. All MMEs that you have purchased from the same sale morph at the same time, and the items morph no matter where they are in your game: in your inventory, in your gallery, in your Safety Deposit Box, in your closet, or even on your pet! These periods of morphing are called stages. The first time your item morphs, it moves from stage 1 to stage 2. The stage your item is in can be indicated in the name:

  1. MME2-S1: Mystical Rain Shower = Mysterious Morphing Experiment 2 – Stage 1: Name of the item
  2. MME2-S2: Glowing Light Lagoon = Mysterious Morphing Experiment 2 – Stage 2: Name of the item
  3. MME2-S3: Puddle with Golden Fish Tail = Mysterious Morphing Experiment 2 – Stage 3: Name of the itme

There are sometimes different items that come from different stages. In the example of the Frozen-inspired MME2o: Ice Palace Background, there are two items that come from stage 2:

mall_mme20_wintergown-6597348MME20-S2a: Winter Princess Gown mall_mme20_northerngown-4645473MME20-S2b: Northern Princess Gown

The former is considered the first strain of stage 2, so it’s considered MME20-S2a, whereas the latter is considered MME20-S2b. While it may seem completely random which items you will receive from each stage, there is actually a way to predict which items you will receive from the MME that you have purchased.

▻ Predicting your MME items:

Users have discovered a way to predict which items you will receive from the MME in your shopping cart at the NC Mall. We’ll continue to use the Ice Palace MME as our example. If you want to get the first dress in stage 2 (*cough* Elsa’s dress *cough*), you need to know that you’re looking for MME20-S2a, as explained above.

  1. First, go to the NC Mall and put multiple MME20s in your shopping cart.
  2. View your shopping cart.
  3. Highlight all of the text underneath “Neopets items,” being sure to highlight the names of the items.
  4. Here, you’ll need to inspect the element of the page.
    1. Chrome: right click, select “Inspect Element”
    2. Firefox: right click, select “View Selection Source”
    3. Internet Explorer 8: right click, select “View Selected Source”
  5. You are specifically looking for the part of the code that reads: <img id=”XXXXX” class=”toggle_img”…>
  6. The XXXXX is the “ID” of the item and will tell you if you will receive 2a or 2b, or 5a or 5b, etc.
  7. Delete the items in your shopping cart that do not correspond with the items you want. They will be in the same order in your cart as they were in the code.

WHEN THE MORPHING ENDS

After a certain number of days, your item will reach its final stage and effectively stop morphing. It is meant to be a surprise how many times each MME will morph. Of the ones released, MMEs go through 3-5 stages so far. You will know for certain that the morphing period has ended because the item will no longer have a question mark on the bottom right-hand corner of the image.

Once the item is no longer morphing, all of its previous forms will appear as separate items in your inventory! That’s right — you get to keep everything that it has evolved into. MiniMMEs generally go through only a single morph and award 2 items whereas you can receive up to 5 items from regular MMEs. There is always the possibility of getting a bonus item, and there is a specific bonus item for each individual MME and MiniMME. These are completely random and cannot be predicted.

PAST MMEs AND MiniMMEs

Currently, there are no MMEs and MiniMMEs in the NC Mall. To see past prizes, go here.

These items are retired and very often of high demand due to the fact that they are cohesive sets and because they were available for such a limited time.

NOTES

  • If you gift an MME to a friend while it is morphing, they will receive all of the items that the MME has morphed into once morphing is over, even if they didn’t own the MME until its later stages.

Delina’s Crafting Quests Guide

The newest quest-giver to join the Faerieland bunch is Delina, the Crafting Faerie. She requires cheap NC items from the mall and gives you NC wearables in return for doing her Delina Quests.

DELINA'S QUEST

ACTIVE DELINA QUESTS

Like the other faeries, Delina’s Quests requires items in order to grant you her faerie blessing. Uniquely, Delina requires not one, but two items! Both are available in the NC Mall and Faerie Quest Shop. She always asks for two items that amount to a total worth of 150 NC. Depending on the items she requests, there are corresponding prizes.

To complete Delina’s quest, simply purchase the items she requests and return to the quests page.
You also have the option of canceling the quest at no penalty, which you can also do on the quests page.

While the older items are available to purchase, the current crafting quests (using the above items) give the following prizes:

 Item 1 +  Item 2 = Quest Prize

Neopets The Search for Princess Lunara

In Neopets: The Search for Princess Lunara, you play as an Aisha tasked with retrieving Princess Lunara. However, the path is fraught with obstacles, mainly in the form of Palace Guards who challenge you with questions. Answering correctly allows you to pass through, while incorrect answers result in having to bribe the guards or worse—game over.

Search for Princess Lunara

To succeed and earn the Gold Trophy, you need to memorize the questions and answers within a specific category. Here’s everything you need to know about the game, including how to pick a category, memorize the answers, and perform well under pressure.

How to Play Neopets: The Search for Princess Lunara

When you begin the game, you are tasked with selecting how many questions you wish to answer. To strive for the Gold Trophy, choose the option for 12 questions. There are three main categories to choose from:

  • All About Neopian
  • Neopian Culture
  • Notable Neopians

Once you pick a category, you’ll be asked a series of questions with multiple-choice answers. It’s essential to answer correctly to avoid paying a bribe or facing the penalty of game over.

The game introduces three guards, each guarding a specific area. Each guard asks you a different set of questions, and you must answer each question correctly to proceed. If you fail, you’ll either have to bribe the guard (if you have enough points) or risk the game ending with the guard accusing you of the kidnapping.

Key Game Features

  • Time Limit: Some questions come with a strict time limit. These are indicated in bold and underlined text. It’s crucial to answer these questions quickly to maximize your score.
  • Speed Bonus: The quicker you answer, the higher your Speed Bonus. This is essential in securing the highest possible score, which can help you win trophies.
  • Bribing Guards: If you answer incorrectly, you may have to bribe the guard to proceed. However, you need points to do this, and there are only a limited number of opportunities to bribe a guard before the game ends.
  • Memory Challenge: Memorizing answers within a single category is key. If you stick with one category throughout the game, you will have a better chance of recalling the answers, thus performing well in the game.

Choosing a Category

To maximize your chances of success and minimize the difficulty, it’s best to focus on a single category. Here’s what each category entails:

1. All About Neopian

This category includes questions that focus on general knowledge about the Neopets world. Expect questions about Neopia’s history, locations, and various features.

2. Neopian Culture

This category is all about the traditions, customs, and cultural aspects of Neopia. It can cover everything from Neopian festivals to famous events and important Neopian figures.

3. Notable Neopians

This category focuses on prominent figures in Neopia. Questions may include information about famous Neopets characters, their backgrounds, and their achievements.

Tips for Memorizing Answers

  1. Choose One Category: As mentioned, pick one category to stick with throughout the game. Memorizing the answers in a single category is far easier than trying to juggle all three.
  2. Create Flashcards: Write down the questions and answers for the chosen category. Use these as flashcards to help reinforce your memory. You can even keep them open on another screen or print them out to have a reference during gameplay.
  3. Group Similar Questions: Some questions will be similar in nature. Try grouping these questions together in your mind. This can help you recall answers faster when the questions appear in the game.
  4. Practice Speed: Practice answering the questions quickly. The faster you answer, the higher your Speed Bonus will be, which is essential for getting a high score and earning a trophy.
  5. Use Keyboard Shortcuts: If you’re quick with your keyboard, use the number keys (1-4) to select your answer. This can save precious seconds when you’re racing against the clock.
  6. Repetition: Play through the game multiple times, focusing on memorizing different categories and their questions. This will help reinforce your memory and allow you to recognize questions faster.

Game Mechanics: How to Handle the Guards

As you progress through the game, you will encounter three Palace Guards, each stationed at different parts of the game. Here’s what you can expect from each:

1. The First Guard

The first guard asks relatively easier questions. The questions will be about general Neopian knowledge, such as which Neopet is most common in the game or which items are traditionally used in a Neopian event.

2. The Second Guard

The second guard’s questions will get slightly more difficult. You may be asked about Neopian history or specifics of popular Neopets characters.

3. The Third Guard

By the time you reach the third guard, the questions will be much harder. This is where your memorization skills come into play. You’ll need to recall facts quickly and accurately to avoid losing the game.

If you answer any question incorrectly, you will be forced to either bribe the guard using your points or face a game over scenario.

Bribing the Guards

Each time you answer a question incorrectly, you’ll need to bribe the guard to continue. Here’s how bribing works:

  • Bribe Cost: The cost of bribing a guard depends on how many mistakes you make. You’ll need a decent number of points to bribe, so it’s important to answer the questions as quickly as possible to maximize your score.
  • Guard Accusation: If you don’t have enough points or fail multiple times, the guard will accuse you of the kidnapping, and the game will end.

Earning the Gold Trophy

To earn the Gold Trophy, you need to answer all 12 questions correctly within your chosen category. Here’s what you need to do:

  • Pick 12 Questions: Select the option to answer 12 questions at the start of the game. This gives you the best chance at earning the highest score and unlocking the Gold Trophy.
  • Answer Correctly: Avoid mistakes, as each error will cost you points. You must answer all questions correctly to proceed.
  • Speed is Key: The faster you answer, the higher your Speed Bonus. This bonus can help you achieve a higher score, which is crucial for earning the trophy.

Other Tips for Success

  • Stay Calm Under Pressure: Some questions will have a time limit. Don’t panic! Take a deep breath and focus on quickly recalling the correct answer.
  • Use External Resources: If you’re really struggling to memorize the answers, consider using a second screen or printout with the answers visible. This will help you avoid mistakes when answering.
  • Play Multiple Times: Don’t be discouraged by mistakes. Every time you play, you’ll get better at memorizing the questions and improving your speed.

Neopets Snow Roller

In Neopets Snow Roller you are a giant Snowball rolling down Terror Mountain. Neopets Snow Roller allows you to control the snowball, avoiding obstacles and obtaining items ( more like rolling into them) to achieve trophy worthy scores.

How to Play Snow Roller

Snow Roller avatar
So you are interested in maybe obtaining the avatar for this game by scoring 6500+ points? Well to do this, you need to be using your keyboard to play. You will be rolling down Terror Mountain and increasing in size the more you roll down. You are trying to collect the items that will be popping onto your screen as well as dodging all the obstacles that will be coming your way.
Use your arrow keys to move left and right down the path to pick up all the items and press the space bar to jump over all the obstacles. Moving can be slow especially when you are super big so remember that when you are trying to get from one side of the screen to the other.

icon_1076-9855990 Items are being collected and getting “stuck” in the snowball.

(Note: if you press and hold the down arrow your speed will be decreased. Do not hit the Black Slushies or the white/ yellow ice or you will speed up again.)

If you hit too many obstacles that are in your way then you will die. Ever time you get hit you will shrink down in size. Once you make it to the end you can pick which path you will take.

This is what the screen will look like for you to pick a path to go down.

There are 3 levels in which you will be facing to try and get that avatar score or better yet the Gold Trophy score.

Snow Roller Scoring

It is easy to score points in this game, what is hard it to score high. You need to collect all the items and Pets that you can while you are rolling down Terror Mountain. Bonus points are awarded if you make it to the end of the level as well. So do try and finish all three levels so you can get item percentage times the item points. Each item is worth a different amount and the two slushies contain special abilities.

You will get 40 points for rolling into a Cybunny that is hoping across the screen.

game_snowroller_item8-8544670

game_snowroller_item10-8326044
30 points for the Slushies.

(Note: If you hit a white slushie all the items around will be attracted to you and fly towards you for a short period of time. The black Slushies will make your pace quicken which can be highly annoying in the harder levels.)

The Obstacles

You will also come across come obstacles in this game. You need to make sure that you do not hit them or else you will start shrinking. Hitting too many will cause you to end your game.  You will need to jump or dodge over each of these. Remember that the Space Bar is jump.

Focus on the left hand side of the screen down the bottom. This will be easier to see if there is an item or obstacles coming your way.
Make sure you have a high item percentage especially at the end to get more points.
To pause your game press the ‘End Game’ button and just click ‘No’ to come back to it.

(Note: some people have been known to be awarded items when they send in scores in this game.)

Good luck and remember you can win an avatar with a score of 6500+ points or a shiny new trophy to go in your cabinet!

Neopets Snot Splatter

In Neopets Snot Splatter, Meuka has created snot webs around the Haunted Woods. Your job in Neopets Snot Splatter; is to destroy all the snot on the board to stop any other Petpet from becoming stuck in his snot webs.
Snot Splatter

This is what your screen may look like. As you can see there are snot bubbles of all different sizes. You want the bigger ones to explode and increase the size of the smaller ones so they can disappear too once exploded.

Snot Splatter Bubble Sizes

snotsplatter_blob5-2502803 This is what the smallest size is. To make it explode you would need to add on 5 extra snot bubbles.
snotsplatter_blob4-1342092 Next size up. An additional 4 extra snot bubbles are needed for it to explode.
snotsplatter_blob3-4016817 This is the medium one. 3 extra snot bubbles are needed.
snotsplatter_blob2-2843709 Large snot bubble only needing 2 more to explode.
snotsplatter_blob1-6677222 The big snot bubble. This one needs only one more in it to explode. So watch for these types if you are wishing to create a chain reaction!

How to Play Neopets Snot Splatter

You will be using only your mouse in this 20 leveled game.
You goal for this game is to make as many chain reactions as possible. What that means is that you will see some big blobs of snot and some smaller blobs of snot. The bigger blobs are ready to explode while the smaller ones need more snot connected to them to make them big enough to “pop!”
When a snot bubble pops it will shoot out four little snot blobs from each side ( up,down, left and right.) If one of those small flying snot bubbles hits another big snot bubble that is ready to pop it too will explode creating a chain reaction.

Snot Splatter Bonuses

Snot Splatter neopets

On the left hand side of your screen you will see something like this (minus a few numbers.) The 18 is the number of clicks left before you will be out of moves which means the game will end. Every time you need to click your mouse this number will decrease. The only way to increase the number (maximum is 25,) is to create those chain reactions which were mentioned earlier.

When you finish a level the amount of snot bubbles left on that meter will carry onto the next level. So for instance if you finish level 5 with 12 snot bubbles than on level 6 you will have 12 snot bubbles to continue on with. So make sure you get as many chain reactions as possible especially in the later levels when they are harder.

Below the meter with 18 on it are your bonuses. Each of them represent different abilities. These must be used wisely in each level. The only way to obtain them is going through the levels and accumulating them. You can not use more than two bonuses at a time.

So each level will have different amount of snot bubbles as well as being placed differently at varying levels of sizes.

The 6 will let you clear a box of 3×3 area. These are obtained if you create a chain reaction of 5-9 snot bubbles.

The 2 will remove a whole column. You must create a chain reaction of 10-19 snot bubbles.

The first 3 will remove an entire row. You need to create a chain reaction of 10-19 snot bubbles.

The second 3  which looked like a tear drop with a ‘2’ in it will allow you to get two clicks for the price of one! To obtain this one you have to make a chain of 40 snot bubbles. These can be extremely useful in tight situations but do not waste them as they are hard to come by in later levels.

The 1 will allow you to double your points in a single move. So if you are lucky to get a chain reaction of 20 then it will be as if you got 40 instead. To get this one you would have to create a chain of 20-29 snot bubbles.

The 4 is a teleporter. You will click on one square and create a teleport for a Snot bubble to go through and teleport to another location. You will have to create a chain of 30-39 to receive this one though.

Snot Splatter Scoring

In this game you will need to watch how many possible turns you have against how many big snot bubbles you have on your screen. If you are wishing to get the gold trophy than you need to make as many chain reactions as possible. To score points you need to bust a snot bubble. The more chain reactions you make the more points you will receive. For example each chain you make will increase your points so if you made a reaction of 5 it would be counted as 1+2+3+4+5 = 15 points. So ideally you want to click that mouse as little as possible in each level.  So if you are likely enough to get a 30 snot bubble chain reaction you will be scoring 465 points ( more if you get the double point bonus.)

 Obstacles

There are always obstacles in games isn’t there? With this game they are very easy to see and work out what your moves should be.
snotsplatter_tile2-3898698This one will allow the snot bubble to bounce off and move in a different direction.
snotsplatter_tile1-3588795And this one will cause the snot bubble to stop dead in its path.

Strategy to Neopets Snot Splatter

Level 1:

Pretty much all of the snot bubbles are ready to explode but it wont hurt for your to make those smaller snot bubbles bigger by clicking on to them. Yes your snot meter will go down but with the amount of combos you will receive, you will not notice in the next level. Some people can finish this level in one click. Other times you make need to help create those chain reactions by adding to the smaller snot bubbles.  (Note: creating more snot bubbles in the empty squares will also increase your score.)

Level 2:

Hopefully you have 25 snot bubbles left for this level. You will have no obstacles to face either. You should have received a x2 bonus too. If you did this is a perfect level to use it. If not possibly start level 1 again. For level two what you want to do is add snot bubbles to the already existing snot bubbles and build them all up. Then use your x2 bubble and blast them all away. You score should be looking pretty nice for this level. Try to explode all the snot bubbles from the middle of the board. You should end up with another 25 turns for the next level if you have done this correctly. Also if you have a few snot bubbles left before you use the x2 bubble try adding more snot bubbles in the empty spaces for additional points.

Level 3:

This is similar to level two. Build up the smaller snot bubbles. Add a few extra ones around as well and watch them chain react with each other.
(Note: Try not to use any other bonuses in the first three levels as they will be needed in the later ones, so save them up.)

Level 4:

This is when the levels will get a bit harder with the obstacles coming up. Remember when the snot bubbles hit the walls they will disappear and do nothing. Try to build up the top and bottom snot bubbles and then explode them. The sides should have the built up with bigger snot bubbles and you should have a fair few snot bubble turns to go. So for this level build up the sides and then add a few extras if you feel comfortable doing this and then explode the sides. If you can fill up all the small snot bubbles around the whole level you could also use the x2 bubble to gain additional points for this level.

Level 5:

This is the same concept as level 4 but it also has the half cut out walls. these will reflect the snot bubbles in different directions. Use the same method as level 4. Fill in the top and bottom and then the sides of the screen. If you can use the x2 bonus in this level to then go for it. As you practice more you should be able to use it in every level up to this point with no problems.

Level 6:

Do not use any of the bonuses in this level. All you need to do is build up your snot bubbles that are near the diagonal barriers and add a few clicks away on the smaller snot bubbles to help move the level along. This level can be quite frustrating to complete. Just do the best you can with it.

Level 7-20:

These level can be hard depending upon how many snot bubble moves you have left from level beforehand. If you have a small amount then you need to focus on 2-3 small chain reactions in this level. The more snot bubbles you have the more chain reactions you will make with the one click. So build up the snot bubbles so that you can have many big ones around the same area so when they do explode they should be able to attach themselves to the smaller ones which will create big ones to explode as well. Make sure you look where the diagonal walls are as well as the walls that will stop your snot bubbles as they try to fly and attach themselves to the next one. Pay particular attention to what bonuses you have and use them wisely.

Neopets Snot Splatter Cheats

  1. Create large combos if you can. Look at where you place them and do not rush. This is not a timed game.
  2. Make sure you use the score doubler when you are going to make a large combo but do not waste it.
  3. To make a better combo, use the teleporter next to a snot bubble that is about to explode.
  4. Find that “Center Snot Bubble,” this can help you create more chain reactions.

Good luck in this game, if you practice hard enough you would be able to earn one of these trophies.
