If you’re a Premium member in Neopets, you have access to a special feature called the Customisation Journal. This tool, introduced on August 1, 2018, allows you to take snapshots of your Neopets on any given day and save their current customisation. You can create entries with custom titles and descriptions, making it a fun and creative way to document your Neopets’ ever-evolving looks.
How to Access the Customisation Journal
The Customisation Journal is easy to access, whether you’re browsing on the classic site or using the mobile-friendly layout:
- Classic Site Layout: The Customisation Journal can be accessed from the Premium Neopets Bar located at the bottom of every page.
- Mobile-Friendly Layout: If the Premium bar is disabled, you can find the Journal by visiting your userlookup, where it’s located in the area where your NC Mall Album would typically appear.

Customisation Journal Features
Once you’ve accessed the Customisation Journal, you can start making entries. Each entry features:
- Snapshot of Your Neopet’s Customisation: You can take a picture of your Neopet’s current look.
- Custom Title and Description: Add a title and a short description to each entry, allowing you to describe your Neopet’s outfit or the occasion for its customisation.
- Automatic Pet Information: The Journal automatically records the colour and species of your Neopet, as well as a list of the clothes it’s wearing at the time of the snapshot.
- To view the clothing, simply click on Petinfo under each entry.
Customisation Journal Limits and Entries
- Up to 6 Entries per Day: You can make up to six entries per day in the Customisation Journal, giving you plenty of opportunities to document your Neopets’ looks.
- Petinfo Feature: Every entry will list your Neopet’s species and colour, along with a clickable list of its current outfit, providing a full snapshot of your Neopet’s appearance.
