Gameplay
When you click on Start Game button that is on the menu screen of Neopets Goparokko, you will have the opportunity of playing the game on the difficulty of your choice. Three of them are available to you, and the difference of difficulties is only the timer, whereas if you play on easy, you will have more time than if you play on normal, and on that difficulty, you will have more time than if you play on hard. There color combination will remain the same, though, so it is not a problem for you. Once the timer runs out, then it will be game over.
Once you start playing, you will notice that there are different colors, a timer, the end game button so that you can finish the game and claim your score whenever you want and a background that is located at the top of the screen. Your main objective is to move the tiles so that they can make 2×2 tiles and thus being able to vanish out of the game. They will award you points if you do so. In order to do that, simply hover on the tile you want to move and click on them, then you will notice that they are moving to make matching stuff.
Many bonuses will be encountered through the game that you will be able to use for your own advantage.
The first one is the dynamite which will be able to remove all the blocks of the same colors. If, for example, the dynamite is on a green tile, it will delete all of the green blocks. If the background of the tile where the dynamite is, is red, then all the blocks of the red colors will be erased.
The second one is a block color that has a square of X color in the middle of it. This one will be able to provide the color of the small square, once the big one disappears. This is good if you’re looking after a particular color and you find that it is easy to get rid of these colors, along with the rest.
The other block is of a color and it will be locked. When it is blocked, you will not be able to move it. However, if you manage to get other blocks to make a set of 2×2 tiles near it, then you will be able to remove it from the game, thus making it easier for you to continue playing.
The normal block is a block of X color that can be found on the game and this is the center of the game, where you will have to match them in order to get more points, and thus getting a better score.
The timer tile will add more time to the meter that is located on the right of the screen. If this timer is fulfilled, then you will be able to get more time to receive more points through the various combinations of the tiles. When you see one of these, do not use it unless you really need it, so that you can make sure it does not go to waste.
Lastly, there will be a tile with a x2 on the bottom right of it. This one will obviously double the points you will be granted for destroying it as a 2×2 or more. For that reason, you may want to make a larger combination than a 2×2 because all the extra points will also be doubled for your advantage. This method is useful if you’re going after a super high score or after a trophy because you will want to grab the maximum amount of points possible.
Neopets Goparokko Strategy & Cheats
It is recommended that you start on easy mode if you are a new starter simply because there the time will run out after a bigger amount of time, thus you will be able to test your skills and to train in there. This time will give you the opportunity to figure how you will be able to set up chains along with how to set up combos. From there, after you feel confident enough, you will be able to move to medium mode to adapt to the speed change. You will still be able to score points there, even if they will award you with less than the hardest mode. Keep playing there until you’ve mastered the combination style then move to hard mode where you will be able to go after the highest possible score.
You will notice, during the game of Neopets Goparokko that the timer will be slow when you try to move blocks and tiles. For that reason, you will want to always be moving the tiles because the timer will not fall quickly. Even if you still don’t know what combination you will have to make, always continue the moving tiles process until you have found the matching tiles.
When you see a locked tile, it is a treat for the later game and you do not want to accumulate those. For that reason, try to get rid of it in the fastest possible way. Of course, you will say that it is not possible to move it so you can’t. However, you can bring the other tiles to it to make a minium of a 2×2 set and from there it will vanish.
When you see a timer, go for it as soon as possible if you need time. If your timer is near full, wait a little until you really need it. Same for the dynamite. Since blowing up tiles will give you more time, and that the dynamite will blow up a vast majority of the tiles, you will have to wait in order to be in need of time. From there you will be able to use the dynamite tile and you will see that most of the time, the timer will be fully replenished.
Your objective will be, if you’re going after a super high score or after a trophy to get a minimum of 2×2 tiles matching together, which means that they will have the same color. However, if you manage to get 3×3 or more, more bonus points will be awarded to you. Always play on hard mode. You will notice that the high score table for that game is almost always filled up with the same players even after month resets. That means if you have the skills, you will be able to make it to the first place at almost any given time. All you will have to do is to play until you know you will be able to master the game and from there it will be a kids game for you to get the champion trophy.
