Faerie Fragments, the much-anticipated mobile game that serves as the reincarnation of Faerie’s Hope, has finally launched—though with a few hiccups! Players around the world were excited to download the game from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store starting last night. While the app initially worked for a few hours, it is now undergoing maintenance. The message on the app promises that it will be down for “a few hours,” though the exact timeframe for when it will return is unknown.
If you haven’t downloaded it yet, you can still do so and be ready when the game is back online. For now, here’s what we know!
How to Download Faerie Fragments
- iOS Users: Head to the Apple App Store and search for Faerie Fragments.

While the “Update” button in the game currently does nothing, rest assured that once maintenance is completed, you’ll be able to jump right into the fun.

One of the most exciting features is the integration with your Neopets account via your NeoPass. Linking your NeoPass to Faerie Fragments will unlock special rewards, some of which have already appeared on Neopets.com. Here’s what you can expect:

- New, Exclusive Item: Upon linking your NeoPass, you’ll receive a unique, never-before-seen item as a special reward.
Level Milestone Rewards
By reaching specific level milestones in Faerie Fragments, you can unlock even more items that are sent to your Neopets account. Some of these items have already been spotted on the site:
- A few of the exclusive items awarded for level progress were added to users’ inventories before the game went down for maintenance. However, many others remain locked, waiting for someone to claim them once the game is fully online.
Other rewards for milestone levels include pre-existing Neopets items, giving players an additional incentive to progress.
In-App Rewards
When you first log in, there are some rewards waiting for you in your in-game mailbox:
- Pre-registration Reward: If you pre-registered for Faerie Fragments, you’ll find your individual reward ready to claim. This item was given as a thank-you to early adopters.
