Neopets Shenkuu River Rush

While Mystery Island would seem like the obvious choice for surfing in Neopia, surfers in the know will tell you that waves don’t get much bigger than those at the waterfalls of Shenkuu! It’s time for Shenkuu’s surfing crowd to show their wave-riding skills to the rest of Neopia, and there’s no better way for them to do it than to take on the terrifying ramps and rapids of their land’s highest waterfalls.

Play as either Cassile or Bowe and ride the roaring rapids of Shenkuu on your riverboard.
Don’t forget to wow the crowd (and earn points!) by doing some amazing tricks.
Just make sure your feet are back on your board before you hit the water… otherwise, you’ll be sunk!
Keep an eye out for powerups that can help you really show off.
Carefully dodge the obstacles that lie in your path, or else you’ll lose a life!

The following are images of the instructions

For the above image : the special tricks are :
LRDL = left right down left
ULDU = up left down up

In the image above is shown the different orbs you can collect during the game.

For the above image : the items are slowly being released :
Pack of Holding, Bracers of Fury,
Helm of Recovery, Boots of Leaping,
Speed Beads, Winged Talisman
the Talisman was removed from the NCMall
Items are being bought at Wonderous Weaponry in Shenkuu
I have 4 of the items and am testing them to add info to the guide :
The pack adds a few points to your score when you cross a new level threshold
I got 3 points for crossing a new level even when I had one life.
The boots increase your jump/air time.
The bracers create a softer landing on your tricks/jumps
but you still have to be on your board to land or you will still lose a life.
But with them you no longer die when doing a trick, pulling it and landing hard as long as you are on your board before the water.
Personally, so far my favorite items are the boots.
Also the boots paired with the bracers.

Scoring for this is game is basic.
You get points for the faster you complete it.
For each orb you get one point.
For the tricks :
DD = down down = Tomamu Tail Flare = 1 point
RL = right left = Whirling Kazeriu = 1 point
RDL = right down left = Juma Spin = 4 points
UDD = up down down = Sandan Somersault = 4 points
LRDL = left right down left = Pygui Roll = 8 points
ULDU = up left down up = Quilin Eclipse = 8 points
Shift = Hold left shift while you are completing a trick
Spacebar = press this to jump

When starting the game, you see the image below.
When the above items are available they will show up in the proper spot of the game screen.

During game play, there are a few obstacles you must avoid or jump.
In the image below there are two obstacles shown. Rocks and logs.

There are also some ramps along the game to increase your jumping.
Some jumps are in the middle of the river.
Other jumps are at the top of waterfalls as in the image below.

There is point in the game where you can access a Secret River.
While playing, when you see the below image in your game,
you know you are about at the spot to find it.
As soon as you go under the structure you see, there is a waterfall.
This waterfall is where you see and access the secret river path.

As you take off from the waterfall, you will see the following image.
The river running left to right under the main river is the secret river path.
Start turning right or left immediately off the waterfall to make this path. The path is rather long, fast and fun and has some large obstacles in the way.
Prepare for lots of jumping or taking your time to manuever the obstacles.

You will know you found the secret river when you see the words Secret Path as in the image below.
The secret river path eventually flows back into the main river.

The end of the game, literally says “Finish” as below.
There are 6 levels to complete.
Each level gets a little bit harder by adding more obstacles to avoid.

After you finish the game it tallies your points for your score.
You do get points added for finishing in a good time.
You will get points taken away for taking too long to finish.

During the game you also come across the Wise Old Gnorbu, seen below.
He doesn’t do anything to affect your game, he is just cheering.

Neopets Dice Escape Guide

You must enter his evil dimension and free the dice! Control each dice by using the arrow keys. The topmost face of the dice must match the exit tile in order to finish the level. Every move that you take will make your bonus smaller, so try and complete the levels as quickly as possible. You will lose a life if time runs out, and you only get three lives.

There are 24 levels in Dice Escape.

Lives and Points
Lives : You have three lives per game. You will lose a life if you run out of time, land on a lava-tile or click the button to reattempt a level. The game ends if you lose your third life. There are no bonuses for completing the game with extra lives remaining.
Time Pts: You have 59 seconds to complete each level, which is plenty of time. You receive a ‘Time Bonus’ of 19 points when you complete a level with all 59 seconds intact and lose a point every 3 seconds. If the timer reaches zero, you will lose one of your three lives and will have to restart the level.
Round Pts : The less moves you make, the more points you get. You start each level with 100 ‘Round Points’, but every move you make loses you 4. Like with the Time Pts, they are only awarded once you complete the level. You will not lose a life if you reach zero round-points.
Coin Pts : Each stage contains a coin that will instantly award you an extra 5, 10 or 25 points when you pick it up. They are always positioned in the same place on the board, but its value is random.
WARNING! : If you minimize the game window at any time it will automatically restart the game, losing you your score!
Cheats
There are two codes in the game that, if typed correctly, will reset the timer. A valuable use of those codes can be found in the ‘Tips’ section below.
Tips
1. If you pick up a coin and then restart the level, a new coin will reappear in its place for you to get. Take advantage of this by clicking the ‘restart’ button every time you get collect a 25 point coin.
2. Do not collect coins if the points it awards are less than the round-points you will sacrifice trying to get it. It sounds pretty obvious, but it’s a common mistake. My level-guide is written so that you avoid those coins.
3. The game occasionally ‘flips’ the maps from level 2 onwards_ The best thing to do when playing the mirrored version is to just restart your game, because my guide will not then be accurate.
4. You need a good connection to the internet and a computer that can run the game fast (3D accelerator card required), otherwise you will lose a lot of points from your time bonus.
5. The ‘flybywire’ and ‘topdown’ cheats have no benefit, so don’t waste your time using them.
6. If you score 1,800 points or more, TNT will review your score before you are credited on the high-score table.
The Step-by-Step Guide
These are the directions to take to complete each level of Dice Escape in the minimum amount of moves – maximizing your ‘Round Points’. I have also noted some tips on the guide to help you along. Make sure you have a read before starting each level.
I have listed the steps to take according to the coin that is generated when you begin the level. If, for example, you play a level with a 25 PC but there are no steps, then use the route for the coin immediately above (5 or 10 PC).

Neopets Ghoul Catchers Guide

Ghosts have escaped from Haunted Woods and have inhabited houses throughout the Neopian world. It’s your job to help Brave Bren, the Professor, and Glyn to rid these houses of spirits! Ghoul Catchers is Neopet’s smartphone application that is very similar to Sutek’s Tomb. The goal is to strategically match three or more ghouls together to achieve a target, a set number of points and in later levels delivering items.

This application is available for iOS and Andriod users, but the game can also be accessed from Facebook as well.

HOW TO PLAY:

Each map will show a path with 20 different haunted houses. Each house represents a different level, and you need to meet the basic requirement for the first level before you move onto the second. You can continue to replay each level to earn neopoints or to improve your number of stars.

Map features:
Hearts – This shows exactly how many lives you have. You begin with a maximum of 5 lives. Hearts are lost whenever you fail to meet a level’s requirements or restart a level. Whenever you lose a life, it takes 20 minutes to replace. Another method for gaining lives is receiving some from friends on Facebook or purchasing lives inside the application.
Stars – This number represents how many stars you have earned. Try to collect as many stars as possible so you are able to continue on to the next map. Each house can earn you up to three stars.
Envelope – This feature shows your friend list and lets you send them extra lives.

Inside the haunted house:
Target – This shows the requirement for each level.
Petpet – Different petpets are unlocked for different maps. Each petpet will provide different options for two power-ups.
Moves – This shows how many moves you have left to use in the game.
Star meter – This shows how close you are to achieving a star.

If you run out of moves without reaching the target, you can choose to flee and lose a life or purchase more moves.

Brightvale

The ghouls have left Haunted Woods, and your first stop is in Brightvale. In this map, a Warf petpet will accompany you. Your Warf petpet will learn two power-ups throughout the Brightvale map: Tailchaiser and Prismatic Sparkler. The Brightvale maps are fairly easy to beat as it only requires you to achieve a certain amount of points to reach the requirement.

Faerieland

The next map you can unlock is Faerieland, but you can only move on from Brightvale after you have collected 50 stars. A red Cyodrake petpet will accompany you through these levels, but you can choose the Warf petpet if you like its power-ups better. The Cyodrake petpet will learn two power-ups throughout the Faerieland map as well: Fireball and Spitfire. This map is a little bit harder because some maps require you to achieve a certain amount of points as well as deliver items. You can deliver items by letting the item drop to the bottom row in the game.

Terror Mountain

The next map is Terror Mountain, and you can unlock this map after you have achieved 100 stars. A Neucloop petpet will accompany you though starting on level 42. The Neucloop has two power-ups, Blocker Buster and Ink Splash. This map is introduces a new obstacle, urns. Urns are unable to be swapped and ultimately block your path. Urns can be destroyed by creating a match touching the urn, or using a special tile to eliminate it.

Lost Desert

The next map is Lost Desert, and you can unlock this map after you have achieved 150 stars. If there are urns present in a level, the Neucloop petpet will be present. If there isn’t, you can choose between the Warf and the Cyodrake. The new target for this map is eliminating plagued ghouls. Basically, there will be a required number of ghouls of a certain color you need to eliminate. For example, you may have to eliminate 5 pink ghouls and earn a certain amount of points before you can achieve the target. This is easy at first, but becomes difficult in the later levels when it asks to eliminate 25 ghouls of a certain color, and there aren’t many present on the board.

STRATEGIES

Creating Special Tiles

Spectral Shackle | Glyph of Banishment | Ghost Trap

An important aspect of meeting all the requirements of each level is creating special tiles. You can create special tiles by matching 4 or 5 ghouls together.
Spectral Shackle: Match 4 ghouls to create a single tile. Matching it again will eliminate an entire row or column depending on which way the green line is facing.

Glyph of Banishment: Match 5 ghouls to create a single tile. Swap this power-up tile and it will banish all ghouls of the same color of the tile you swapped.

Ghost Trap: Match 5 ghouls in an L or T shape to create a single tile. Matching this tile again will eliminate a 3×3 block of the ghouls around it.

Swapping Special Tiles

The best way to earn points in Ghoul Catchers is to swap two special tiles. Swapping these two tiles, depending on what they are, will produce different reactions. In the later levels, it is extremely important to be able to swap these tiles, otherwise, it is unlikely you’ll be able to meet the level’s target.

Two Spectral Shackles: Will eliminate a column and a row for 100 points per ghoul

Spectral Shackle and Glyph of Banishment: Will eliminate rows and columns of the color of the spectral shackle for 100 points per ghoul.

Spectral Shackle and Ghost Trap: Will eliminate 3×3 row and a 3×3 column for 200 points per ghoul.

Two Ghost Traps: Will eliminate a 3×4 region around the traps for 200 points per ghoul.

Ghost Trap and Glyph of Banishment: Will eliminate 3×3 regions of the color of the Ghost Trap for 200 points per ghoul.

Two Glyphs of Banishment: Will eliminate all ghouls on the board for 100 points per ghoul

Power-ups

In various levels throughout the game, a level will start and have you complete a tutorial about some of the power-ups. However, don’t forget that these power-ups do not replenish after you complete a level but are available for purchase. I recommend you don’t use these unless you feel like you can’t beat a level without it.

Ghoul-B-Gone – Allows you to eliminate ONE ghoul. Available at level 4+. All petpets.

Tailchaser – This power up allows you to swap two different ghouls without making a match. Available at level 5+. Warf petpet.

Prismatic Sparkler – Eliminates all ghouls of two random colors. Available at level 10+. Warf petpet.

Utility Kit Booster – Gives you five extra moves. Available at level 15+. All petpets.

Fireball – Eliminates 10 random ghouls. Available level 22+. Cyodrake petpet.

Spitfire – Eliminate one column of ghouls. Available level 31+. Cyodrake petpet.

Extra Life – Restores your life meter

Map Unlock – Allows you to unlock a map early if you do not meet the star requirement.

Blocker Buster – Eliminates one urn. Available level 42+. Neucloop petpet.

Ink Splash – Eliminates a 3×3 block, including urns. Available level 51+. Neucloop petpet.

TIPS

  • Always check to see if you can create a special tile before swapping any ghouls.
  • Swapping special tiles will earn you the most points and get you closer to a three star achievement.
  • Try not to get items you are trying to deliver stuck along the sides as this makes it more difficult to make them reach the bottom.
  • If you are close to running out of moves, try creating as many special tiles as possible, and they will detonate at the end of a level, giving you more points.
  • If you’re looking to make some quick NP, repeat level 1 multiple times. You can earn up to 50k NP a day
  • If you have already passed a level and are trying to get all three stars, don’t worry about delivering items or eliminating plagued ghouls if they’re being troublesome; focus on achieving a higher score as you’ll still be awarded the stars regardless of reaching the requirement.

Neopets AAA’s Revenge

AAA’s Revenge centers around the cruelty Aristotle A. Avinroo (AAA) faced by the hands of the ruthless King Roothless. AAA has set out to seek revenge by breaking into the King’s castle!

Neopets AAA's Revenge

AAA’s Revenge – How to Play

The objective of the game is simple, just don’t let King Roothless fall asleep. You will navigate AAA around the King’s castle by using the left arrow and right arrow key (which will move AAA clockwise and counter-clockwise around the castle’s perimeter. If you hit the Space Bar, you will launch AAA’s yoyo. You’ll have to continuously move around the map and hit AAA, while going undetected by the King’s guards walking around. Once the game beings everyone is stationary and you get three easy hits on the King. If you happen to pull out your Yoyo, and it lands in the line of sight of a guard, then the yoyo will be confiscated.

AAA’s Revenge – When you Lose

King Roothless will being yawning fifteen seconds after you hit him with the Yoyo, and five seconds after that he will fall asleep. Thus you have twenty seconds in-between hits to maneuver around. If Roothless falls asleep or you are out of Yoyos, than you loose.

AAA’s Revenge – Items

Items will periodically appear on the map, and you will get a small reward each time you collect them (by slinging your Yo-yo at the item). The shield however is a deterrent, as you can not just sit in one place and continuously hit Roothless. If you hit him three times from the same gap in the wall, the shield will appear, and if you use the same gap again, you will loose a yoyo.

AAA’s Revenge – Cheats

To maximize your points, you want to quickly hit AAA’s in rapid successions. This will earn you the most amount of points rather than hitting him once and moving around! If the flashing shield appears, hit Roothless from another angle/gap. When Roothless yawns, you have five seconds to hit him again before the game ends!

Splat-A-Sloth

Splat-A-Sloth is one of the classic games in Neopets’ long history, cherished by players for its simplicity and nostalgic appeal. Originally created as a straightforward reflex game, it’s similar to other early Neopets games like Dar-BLAT!!!. In this guide, you’ll learn the gameplay mechanics, strategies, and tips to master this iconic game—and even aim for a trophy!

Splat a Sloth Gameplay Overview

The main objective of Splat-A-Sloth is to hit the plushie Dr. Sloth with a newspaper as he pops out of a tube. The game’s controls are simple: press the space bar to swing the newspaper and splat the Sloth plushie.

Scoring System

  • Accuracy Matters: Points are awarded based on where you hit the plushie:
    • Hitting the head gives a moderate score.
    • Hitting the legs (farther end of the plushie) yields the highest score, as it demonstrates faster reflexes.
  • If you miss, Dr. Sloth laughs loudly, and the game offers you a chance to retry.
  • Maximum Score: The game’s highest possible score is 500, but achieving it requires hitting the plushie before it appears, relying on precise timing and luck.

Game Dynamics

  • Random Timing: The Sloth plushie pops out at a random interval between 2 and 15 seconds.
  • Game Freeze Warning: Holding down the space bar continuously or pressing it too early can cause the game to freeze. If this happens, you’ll need to refresh the page.
  • Unmutable Sound: Dr. Sloth’s laugh cannot be silenced within the game, so you may need to mute your device if it becomes bothersome.

Splat a Sloth Strategies for Success

General Tips

  1. Focus on the Tube: Watch the red tube and prepare for movement. The black hole at the center of the tube indicates where the plushie will emerge.
  2. Avoid Early Clicks: Pressing the space bar too soon can cause the game to freeze or result in a failed attempt.
  3. Keyboard Technique: For desktop users with physical keyboards:
    • Lightly press the space bar halfway down without fully activating it.
    • Quickly press it fully when the Sloth plushie appears.
For laptop users with flat keyboards:
    • Keep your finger ready on the space bar for an immediate response when the plushie appears

Trophy Hunting Strategy

  • To secure a spot on the high score table and earn a trophy, aim for the maximum score of 500 points.
    • This requires pressing the space bar before the plushie appears, as it’s the only way to achieve this score.
    • Use trial and error by pressing the space bar at specific intervals, such as 5 seconds after the game starts. Over time, with some luck, you may hit the Sloth preemptively and earn the coveted score.

High Score Table Dynamics

  • The high score table operates on a rotational system:
    • If the table is full with 100 players scoring 500 points, the newest 500-point scorer will take the top spot, and all others will shift down.
    • The first day of the month offers the best opportunity for trophy hunting, as fewer players typically achieve maximum scores early on.

Reaction-Based Scoring

  • For regular gameplay, react as quickly as possible to splat the plushie. Focus on hitting the legs for higher scores, as this reflects superior reflexes.

Splat-A-Sloth Cheats and Hacks

  1. Time Your Space Bar Press: If aiming for the maximum score, hit the space bar at a fixed interval (e.g., every 5 seconds). This method requires patience and persistence but can result in the 500-point score.
  2. Restart for Faster Reflexes: If you find yourself staring at the screen for too long, restart the game to reset your focus.
  3. Avoid Holding the Space Bar: This doesn’t improve accuracy and may freeze the game, requiring a refresh.
