Neopets Snowmuncher

Starting off:
This game concept is really easy. You will be able to get the avatar within no time if you follow these easy instructions. You also have the opportunity to get a nifty avatar when you score 5000+ points. So whether you are a first time player or you have been struggling to achieve such a high score I hope this will help you get that avatar! (Or a trophy!)

How do you play this game?:
Have your keyboard ready! You are needing to use the arrow keys to control the Polarchuck and the space bar for him to eat the block that is underneath him (except for the ice!!) Once you press “Play Game” you will be able to see on the top on the right hand side the;Score, Bloated percentage, Time remaining and how many lives you have left. All of these you need to keep an eye out for.

Bloat Percentage:

This is something you need to look out for. Every block you each is 5% but a bolder is worth 10% so be careful. Once you reach 100% and fail to reduce the amount you will lose a life. You want to get the Polarchuck to the bottom of the screen by eating the blocks under him and reducing his bloating by the red potion that is hidden down the screen. Each level will tell you how many metres down there are. One block down will equal one metre. When you are getting bloated your Polarchuck picture will be getting fatter and you need to reduce the percentage. To do this you must have a red potion.

These can be hidden either side of the map so you need to make sure that when you see it and if you have enough time and bloated percentage left you can get it to reduce it back down to 50%. Remember: Every time you each a block the bloat level will go up by 5% but with the bricks, they take two bites to eat so that means it will go to 10% once you are through (so maybe try to avoid those ones if you can.)

Coloured Snow:

You will come across different colours of snow; red, blue and green. However, as you go further into the levels orange will be joining too. The colours do not correspond with certain points so they are all worth the same. If you are just going for the avatar you should only have those ones but if not you will be facing more, which means it will be more difficult to achieve. So remember every time you eat a block of snow you increase your bloatage percentage by 5% so what you want to try and achieve is eating blocks that have the same colour around them. For example if you eat a pink block and it is surrounded by pink those pink blocks will disappear too but this only adds 5% which is what you want.

So if my Polarchuck was to eat those pink on the left then blocks above would fall down (do not stand underneath falling blocks or you will lose a life!) and I can also go back to my left and get my red potion that reduces my Bloatage percentage.

(Tip: If you have a red potion next to you, each more blocks to reach 50% then have the potion- which you are also keeping an eye on the time.)

How to get more points:

So throughout playing you will see gems around these come in green

and the harder ones come in purple. To get the green ones you just need to walk into them to get an extra 100 points. Make sure though that once you get that gem the blocks above it won’t squish you making you lose a life! The purple ones as I said, are harder to get. Once you reach the second level you will see frozen worm like things in the ice. You need to wake it up by eating the snow underneath it. Then the worm will come alive.

Once he worm is destroyed ( or if you can dodge the slow moving worm) you can go grab the gem for an extra 200 points. If the worm does get you, you will lose a life. Remember 3 lives gone and you are out to start again.

(Tip: When eating the same coloured block wait a second to see if the above blocks would take away any additional ones once they drop you can see this by the white outlinning of them)

In the game as well you may come across Eyeballs, Grapes and clocks encased in ice. You need to deal with these the same you would the worm. Eat the block underneath to open it up and grab the item. Clock= more time, Eyeball and Grapes = points (less than gems.) Most times it isn’t worth getting the additional points because of the bloatage percentage that will increase by going over to them and eating the block underneath.

Now How Do I play?

That my friend is easy to do.

Just one thing though, practice does make perfect. I achieved the avatar about my 10th go at this game. You just need to practice level one a few times to understand how the blocks will fall. That is the basic step, not getting squished by a falling block and learning to get out of the way.

At the start you are faced with lines of the same colour and a red potion in sight or a few under. Press the space bar to each the blocks and also wait for a few seconds to see where you fall to/ where the blocks fall to too.

Sometimes you will need to quickly move. So practice this in level one so that you can eat a block get a gem then quickly move out of the way for the falling blocks above you.
Don’t go to quick in the first level too. You only need to reach 50m down which is 50 blocks down. So take your time!
You want to as well try to get combos that is four or more of the same colour block. That is the best way to achieve a high score especially if you are going for the trophy.

Levels Explained:

If you wish to get the avatar or trophy (really that is why you are reading this guide) you then want to score as many points as you can in level 1. To do this keep an eye on the time and the bloating levels of your Polarchuck. This level is great to get lots of points as the red potions are everywhere and you can get quite a few combos and green gems which is lucky. I would try to aim higher than 500 points for this part. The higher you can get the easier it will be in the future. Also aim high for this beginning level.

The second level is the same. But now you have the opportunity to get the purple gems too. Remember this is done by eating the blocks under the frozen worm and NOT GETTING EATEN!
You will have to watch out for your bloat level and remember to get those red potions when you see them. Once you are happy and about to finish by reaching the bottom. Take some time to eat the blocks around you to get more points.

(Tip: A great way to get lots of points in this level is to get all the way to the bottom and let the timer run out. This allows you to restart the level with the same amount of points you have and obtain more. Doing this you should get over 1900 points quite easily. So let the timer run out and do not bloat yourself instead, that only allows you to reset from where you last ate which is pointless.)

I find it really easy to do level two a few times so just eat blocks, get gems, watch your bloat percentage and then make the timer run out. This will allow you to get a lot of points and a whole lot of practice under your belt. Once again do not let your Polarchuck bloat. This will ruin the strategy. You want to only let the timer run out twice as well. No more or you will have to start all over again from the beginning.

Once you get to level 3 you should have a lot of points roughly around 4000. In this level you just want to survive. So get all the gems that are around you. Don’t venture off to try and get the purple gem from the other side of the screen. Just get through the level and onto the next one.

The forth level if you need to be at this stage is the same. Get through it carefully. You don’t want to die at all Dying means that it is game over and yes, you will have to start from the beginning again.

Snowmuncher Cheats:

Pretty much every game has that cheat code so you can use this one to reduce your bloat level by 50% very handy in level 3 when you are trying to go all the way down to level four. So type

“Buuuurrrrrrrrp”
4 u’s and 8 r’s

This will be very helpful to use when you are just aiming for the avatar. Good luck and hopefully you are able to achieve this one in a short amount of time!

Hasee Bounce Neopets

Nothing quite makes you want to keep playing then two little Hasees named Woogy and Jimmy, being flung in the air to catch Doughnutfruits all day long. These two little guys just want to eat as many Doughnutfruts as they can but they need your help!

How to Play Hasee Bounce

This game is really easy to get the hang of but unfortunately it has all the characteristics of a luck based game. You can attempt this many times but you need to have a lucky streak.

Picture this: Two Haees being flung into the air by the sea-saw action. All you need is your mouse and patience.

To start off Press “Start Game” and watch the counter count down from 3. You will see the Orange Hasee on the top of the branch and the Purple Hasee on the right hand side of the sea-saw. Your objective is to click your mouse (or space bar) when there are Doughnutfruits flying across the screen and use your mouse to move (or arrow keys) to direct the way you want them to move.

There are two things to keep in mind.

1) Collect the special Doughnutfruits!

2) Collect the letter that fly across the screen. Purple matching with the purple Hasee and Orange letters matching with the orange Hasee!
.

The orange Hasee is falling so that the purple Hasee can get his purple letter.

  1. 1.) The easiest way to gain points, is to get as many doughnutfruits as possible. You can get more than one every time you jump or are propelled up. Remember that there are different types. However, if you skip the lower point ones to get the higher point ones you might miss out on making a combo. You should try for both. Which results in higher points for you!
  2. 2.) Another option is to skip the majority of the doughnutfruits and go for the letters. Not only do letters give you points, they extend your time. So this method could be considered the most efficient. Another perk is to get letters of all the same color. If you spell out Hasee with all purple or all orange, you get not only 40 points, but your time starts over. I really suggest this one for anyone who is pretty well practiced in this game, but not for anyone new to it.
  3. 3.) A Combination of both going for letters AND doughnutfruits. Just remember about the bonus points and time extention you get for all one color letters.

Doughnutfruit Values

Each Doughnutfruit is worth different amount of points. This is a list of ones you will come across during your game time. Some are more common than others, well really the higher the points the least common it will be so get those bad boys once they come around.

(Tip if you get two doughnut fruits in one jump then the second on you touch will be worth double that Doughnut fruits score. So if I touch a yellow one which is worth 1 point then touch a blue one that is worth 3 points I would end up getting 7 points. But if I hit the blue one first and then the second one I would only get 5 points – so you can see where the luck comes in. Also if you can get 3 in a row or even 4 the points will increase dramatically).

(Tip: The word doughnutfruit will refill the timer. The best way to do this is type the word but don’t type the last ‘t’ at the very end when you are about to die, that’s when you type it so that should help you get the result you want to.)

The Dreaded Hasee Letters

The reason why I saying ‘dreaded’ is because there have been many occasions where I can be jumping for 20 seconds and I have no seen one letter Doughnutfruit. *stupid luck!*
These are the most important parts of this game. Without them you cannot keep going. To get one of these letters you need to grab it with the same coloured Hasee! That is you cannot get a Purple letter with an orange Hasee, like I mentioned before. The word ‘Hasee’ will be in the middle of your screen. This is vital for you to keep spelling this word out. It allows you to gain extra time per letter you score and every word you complete you gain an extra 20 seconds (told you it was needed!) If you are lucky enough however to spell the word out in a single colour then you are awarded 40 seconds instead. This is harder and some people say it is worth it but it would be up to you.
(Tip: If you start collecting one colour leave it until the last 20 seconds to then go to both colours. That 40seconds could be better than 20seconds extra)

Should I Collect Everything?

The answer to that is NO! These images are things you really need to advoid. Your Hasees if they touch these will not be able to collect anything for a short period of time. This could be so disappointing if you go through that needed letter and you are unable o do it. (Note: only the Hasee that has touch the bad item will be unable to collect Doughnutfruits)

Should I Just Jump?

To answer that one I’m afriad the answer is again no. You need to be watching both directions ( like you do when you cross the road.) When you first start and you click to let the Orange Hasee fall you need to see what the Orange hasee will collect as well as what the purple one will when he jumps up. You can moving both Hasees when they are in the air. To control one Hasee to go left while you want the other one to go right you will need to be fast in order to collect the Fruits you want. It takes roughly 2 seconds for the Hasee to fall from the branch of the tree to hit the sea-saw then another 2 from the sea-saw to the branch.

As you collect more Letters the game speed will go fast- meaning the letetrs and Doughnutfruits going across the screen not the falling and jumping of the Hasees.

I tend to clik, collect and wait to see if any words pop up or letters fly passed. I also like to leave my Hasees for both sides on the outside of the sea-saw. That to me gives me the best possible advantage for the next jump.

Hasee Bounce Cheats

There are a few things that you can also view while playing this game/ cheats for you to use.

As I mentioned before you can use “doughnutfruit” to reset the timer in the game.
You can also type in ‘pleasegivemeonemillionneopointsthankyouhasees‘ which allows you to… well you check that one out!

So good luck with this game currently there is no avatar for it but you can get a few nifty trophies depending on what score you achieve and when you attempt it.

Neopets Meepit vs. Feepit

Since the dawn of time, the Meepit and the Feepit have been mortal enemies destined to fight. In Meepit vs. Feepit, players take on the role of the Blue Feepit, battling Meepit opponents across five distinct stages. With a mix of strategy, quick reflexes, and skillful combo execution, players strive to defeat their foes and earn avatars or trophies as rewards.

How to Play

Meepit vs. Feepit is structured like a classic fighting game where the primary objective is to deplete your opponent’s HP before they do the same to you. Each match consists of several rounds, with a maximum duration of 99 seconds per round. To win a stage, you must defeat the Meepit three times. Be cautious: if the Meepit defeats you three times in any stage, it’s game over!

Basic Controls

Mastering the controls is essential to success. Players can customize key bindings, but the default controls are as follows:

  • Right Key: Right Arrow (Move right)
  • Left Key: Left Arrow (Move left)
  • Jump Key: Up Arrow (Jump)
  • Crouch Key: Down Arrow (Crouch)
  • Punch Key: Z Key (Punch)
  • Kick Key: X Key (Kick)
  • Block Key: C Key (Block)

Keep in mind that attacks can be executed while crouching or jumping. If you attack a Meepit that is blocking without crouching, you may still hit them if you are in a crouched position.

Combo Moves

Executing combo moves can significantly enhance your attack effectiveness. Perform special combos by pressing the punch and kick keys in sequence. Timing is critical; ensure that you wait for the animation of your current attack to finish before inputting the next key. Notably, attacking a blocking Meepit can still inflict damage if executed correctly. Here are some notable combos:

  • Roll Attack: Z, X, Z, X
  • Torpedo Dive: X, Z, X, Z

The Opponents

Each stage in Meepit vs. Feepit features a unique type of Meepit, with the same HP and damage output. The stages are as follows:

  1. Level 1: Enemy – Blue Meepit (Location: Neopia Central)
  2. Level 2: Enemy – Dung Meepit (Location: Haunted Woods)
  3. Level 3: Enemy – Faerie Meepit (Location: Faerieland)
  4. Level 4: Enemy – Tyrannian Meepit (Location: Tyrannia)
  5. Level 5: Enemy – Fire Meepit (Location: Moltara)

Scoring System

Your score is determined by the type of attacks executed during the match. The Meepit must not be blocking for you to earn points. Scoring breakdown is as follows:

  • Punch/Kick: 6 points
  • Roll Attack/Torpedo Dive: 13 points + 6 points when the Meepit hits the ground
  • Bonus Points: An extra 100 points for clearing each stage

Strategy for Success

To optimize your performance and secure an avatar or trophy, consider the following strategies:

  • Maximize Combo Attacks: Focus exclusively on combo moves, as they yield more points than regular punches or kicks. If the Meepit is blocking, close in and use a combo attack to deal damage.
  • Health Management: During your matches, aim to bring the Meepit’s health down without securing a victory in the first two rounds. Let the Meepit defeat you, then come back strong to defeat them in the next rounds.
  • Final Blow Technique: For maximum points, prepare a combo and execute a jump KO when the Meepit is within striking distance. This can score up to 70 points with one attack.
  • Monitoring the Damage Gauge: Always keep an eye on your HP. If your gauge is getting too high, switch to a defensive strategy to regain composure.

2 Player Mode

Meepit vs. Feepit also features a local multiplayer mode where players can compete against each other on a shared keyboard. In this mode, players cannot earn points, but it’s a fun way to challenge friends.

Quick Tips

  • Avoid attacking Meepits while they are blocking to prevent scoring penalties.
  • Utilize combo moves as often as possible for increased damage and points.
  • Move freely while attacking; movement keys will not disrupt your combo execution.

Achievements and Rewards

By scoring 3,000+ points in Meepit vs. Feepit, players can unlock exclusive avatars and trophies, showcasing their skill and dedication. Notably, the 2019 Charity Corner perk reduced the required score for unlocking rewards to 2,400+ points.

Conclusion

Meepit vs. Feepit offers an exhilarating blend of action, strategy, and competition. With its straightforward controls and engaging mechanics, this game promises to provide hours of entertainment for Neopets enthusiasts. Whether you’re honing your skills or aiming for high scores, the thrill of battle between Meepits and Feepits is sure to captivate you!

Gameplay Overview

Game Mechanics

Maths Nightmare is set in a colorful landscape where players are tasked with answering math problems presented by Babaas. The gameplay is straightforward yet challenging, offering various levels of difficulty. Here’s a breakdown of the key mechanics:

  1. Levels: The game consists of five levels, each progressively increasing in difficulty. Higher levels not only present more complex math problems but also reward players with more neopoints.
  2. Babaas and Math Problems: Each Babaa carries a math question that players must answer correctly for it to jump over the fence. The questions cover different mathematical operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  3. Controls: Players use the number pad on their keyboard to input answers. Once you click on a Babaa, type the answer using the number keys and hit “Enter” to submit. If you need to correct an answer, the “Backspace” key will erase your input.
  4. Points System: Successfully answering questions earns you points, with the ratio being 100NP for every 100 points scored.

Objective

Your main objective is to keep Imiya asleep by ensuring that all the Babaas can jump over the fence successfully. Failing to answer a question correctly results in a Babaa not making it over the fence, which can be detrimental to your overall score.

Understanding the Math Problems

Types of Math Problems

As you progress through Maths Nightmare, you will encounter various types of math problems. Understanding these problems is crucial for quick and accurate responses. Here’s a breakdown of the common types:

  1. Addition: Basic addition problems will require you to sum two or more numbers.
    • Example: What is 3 + 5?
  2. Subtraction: These problems involve finding the difference between numbers.
    • Example: What is 10 – 4?
  3. Multiplication: More challenging, these require you to multiply two numbers.
    • Example: What is 6 x 3?
  4. Division: You’ll also need to divide numbers to find out how many times one number fits into another.
    • Example: What is 20 ÷ 4?
  5. Mixed Problems: Higher levels will feature problems that mix different operations, requiring quick thinking and adaptability.

Tips for Solving Math Problems

  1. Know Your Strengths: Identify which type of math problems you find easiest and target those first. If addition is your forte, prioritize those questions in the early levels.
  2. Practice Mental Math: To improve your speed, practice solving basic math problems in your head. This will save you time during gameplay.
  3. Familiarize Yourself with Key Operations: Make sure you are comfortable with the order of operations (PEMDAS/BODMAS) for mixed problems.
  4. Stay Calm: It’s easy to feel rushed, but staying calm can help you think clearly and solve problems more accurately.

Strategies for Success

Level Progression

  1. Start with Easy Levels: If you’re new to the game, begin with Level 1. This level introduces the game mechanics and allows you to familiarize yourself with answering questions.
  2. Increase Difficulty Gradually: Once you feel comfortable with the basic math problems, move on to higher levels to challenge yourself and maximize your neopoint earnings.

Time Management

  1. Manage Your Time Wisely: Each question has a time limit. Don’t spend too long on any single problem. If you’re unsure, it may be better to skip and move to the next Babaa.
  2. Use the Tab Key: Instead of clicking with your mouse, navigate through Babaas using the tab key on your keyboard to speed up your gameplay.
  3. Practice Makes Perfect: The more you play, the better you’ll get at solving problems quickly. Regular practice will help you recognize patterns in the types of questions asked.

Scoring Higher

  1. Focus on Completing Levels: Aim to finish levels completely rather than getting a few answers right. Completing a level boosts your overall score.
  2. Combine Categories: If you’re adept in more than one category, try to switch between them to keep your answers diverse and quick.
  3. Avoid Mistakes: A wrong answer not only costs you points but can also disrupt your rhythm. Aim for accuracy over speed.

INTRODUCTION

A basic overview to the guide

Dr. Sloth has stored all the ingredients to make his Transmogrification Potions in a mysterious old evil laboratory full of nasty Korbats and Spyders. Your mission is to go in there armed with your trusty bat and smash as many boxes as possible to foil Sloth’s evil plans! When the potion bottles drop, pick them up, you never know what will happen!” – Neopets.com

Here are the controls of the game
  • Left and Right arrow keys to move bat.
  • Spacebar to release the ball.

PLAYING THE GAME

Information on how to play the game

The object of the game is to clear the screen of all the blocks. You must hit the blocks the number of times indicated on the box (such as once for 1, twice for 2, etc.). Do not let your ball drop to the bottom of the screen! Use your bat to hit your ball back up. You have four balls/lives to play with. If you lose all four balls/lives, the game is over. You gain another ball/live by typing in “spiderbite” (if you look closely, you will notice a faint outline for a 4th roman numeral). Your number of lives is displayed on the rusty grandfather clock (four lives would represent a roman numeral of three, because the zero is included). Collect the falling money and potions with your bat. Each potion has a different effect. [see “The Potions and Effects” below].
