999-3518429

Powerups

During the game, a total of ten power ups will be there for you to make profit of, where nine of them will be appearing on every game mode. The only mode they wont be appearing in is the Extreme Mode. The tenth power up will appear only in the Extreme Mode difficulty. Below you will find a list of power ups to help you stay familiar with them and get a better global idea about the whole game, and about the process. There will be also a strategy provided for each boulder for you to destroy it in the best possible way.

The Timer Boulder. This Boulder will be blue with a timer on it, that will count down from 15 seconds all the way up to 0 seconds. When the time runs out, if you weren’t able to successfully destroy it before, then this block will turn in an indestructible boulder and it will remain there for the rest of the game. It is recommended that you remove these in the first place so that you can avoid having these in your path, where they will be indestructible. That said, at the start of the game, it will be more benefical for you to aim at these first.

The Indestructible Boulder. This one will have two bones crossed on it, and it will be the grey color. It can not be destructed and you will have to avoid it at all cost simply because it is not beneficial for you to hit it.

The Fill Boulder. This one is blue with three white squares that have green borders. Its effect is simply that it will add another row of boulders at the top of it. It is recommended that you make the maximum profit of it by waiting the rows to drop little by little. When there is almost no rows left, use this boulder so that you can create additional ones, thus giving you extra points. This is also good if you’re going after a super high score or after a trophy because of the extra points it provides.

The Explode Boulder. This one is a black boulder with a red volcano on it that is spreading gas outside. It will destroy all of the adjacent boulders. It is recommended that you keep this for the very end simply because at that time there will be less combinations and you will be able to grab a lot of extra points by destroying the unmatchable boulders. It will then explode and minimize the left amount of boulders, giving you extra points.

The Overkill Boulder. This grey boulder will have a cracked wand on it. It will destroy all boulders that will be of the same colour of it. Note that this boulder will only award you with points for the first click you do on it, and not for the other boulders that are of the same colour. In other words, if you click on it, you will be awarded points for clicking on it, but the other boulders that are destroyed will not provide anything. It is recommended, for this reason, that you only use it only when the maximum number of boulders have been removed of the game, so that if you click on it and manage to break the order, if you’re lucky enough, more boulders will be available for you to match together.

The Multiplier Boulder will have a picture of 3 units on a grey block, and what it will do is simply provide a multiplier to your score. It will multiply it by three, and it will start appear, most of the time, from level 3 and so on. This is very helpful simply because it will give you a lot of extra points. Before you use it, make sure that you get boulders together to make an excellent combo, after that simply use it and boom, you will be awarded with a lot of points.

The Morph Boulder is a boulder that will continuously change its colour and it will be able to match all of the other normal colors. From there, you will be able to click on it whenever it changes to the color you’re currently looking forward. This is helpful if you have a set of combo but just need one missing block. This, then, will be fundamental and you will have to use it to earn the most amount of points possible.

The Wildcard Boulder has two Tyrannian forks crossed. This one will represent a boulder that is of any colour, and the colors of the other blocks will not matter. This is extremely helpful if you’re linking two combos that are large and you’re just missing one.

The Shuffle Block is the one with Glubgar (that is usually the main dragon of Volcano Run II). He will fly across the screen to shuffle all the remaining boulders to make sure that they are the same. This is very helpful if you really have almost no other combinations that are possible, so that you can use it to get a fresh start and start finishing off more boulders, thus earning more extra points.

The Undo Boulder is the one that has a green head monster on a green block. It will only work if the previous play did not contain the use of any power-up boulder. From there, you will be able to take a step backward in case you’ve done something that you have regretted. This is not very helpful, but it is surely excellent if you were not thinking that doing x thing will cause y things, thus you will have a better time taking an undo (step backward).

Lastly, the Scammander Boulder that has a scammander on a blue block will keep one column that contain boulders from rising. Again, this is only available on Extreme Mode because there the boulders will be rising. These blocks will be usually moving fast and it is not really helpful so you better just focus on destroying the maximum number of blocks possible and less to worry about this.

ctp_999-7269408

Modes

During the game, a total of five different modes will be offered for you to play on.

The first one is the Zen Mode, where you will not earn any points or Neopoints. This is mainly to practice your skills and to know what to do, along with what to not do. How to proceed, how to setup a strategy, what you can do in x situation, etc.

The second one is the Classic Mode, where you will have to play and earn points. This is a basic mode, simply double click on the set of boulders to have them disappear, thus earning points for your own purpose.

The Extreme Mode is what comes next. There you will only have to click once, and the boulders will be rising so you will have to be quick.

If you’re a fan of the Classic Mode, you may want to play on a double screen.

Lastly, the Double Troube Extreme Mode is like the previous mode, and you will be playing in extreme mode with a double screen. However, it is hard to keep playing simply because the boulders will get faster and faster.

At the bottom of the screen, two power ups will be offered for you to use. The first one is the undo power up which will not usable if a power up is not destroyed (if it is clear). If it is bold, then it is active and you will be able to use it. Then, there is the shuffle power up that can be used.

Neopets Destruct-O-Match III Strategy & Cheats

To avoid losing combos, it is recommended that you start elimination boulders from the top all the way going downward. It is recommended that you play on the classic mode if you’re going after a super high score or after a trophy simply because you will not be able to maintain the rythm in the later level. For this reason, stick the classic one and you will have as much time as you want to think and to act, thus getting you points.

You will need a total of 2,500 points to earn the Destruct-O-Match Avatar and for a trophy you will need over 3 thousand points. It is recommended that you try to achieve the trophy at the beginning of the month simply because the scores will be lower and they will be located within then 2800 range or, if you’re lucky, less than that. From there you will be able to earn a shiny new trophy.

Neopets Defender Trainer

Neopets Defender Trainer is a game that will give you a chance to shoot while you’re using your brain. Neopets Defender Trainer will offer you a variety of things to shoot at and to avoid for you to do.

defendertrainer-6242789

Gameplay

During Neopets Defender Trainer, you will be able to customise the difficulty so that you can start playing on the level you’re currently at. Three levels are offered to you. The first on is Easy Mode which will offer you with four pictures that are 2×2 square for you to shoot at. The Medium difficulty will offer you with six pictures that are 3×2 and finally, the hard difficulty will offer a total of nine pictures in 3×3 square. The hardest the difficulty, the less time you will be given upon successful completion of each level, but you will be awarded with more points for every single level simply because the difficulty will be harder.

Pictures

You will be presented with various pictures for you to shoot at. These can be Neopets, petpets or even items and this is why below you will find a list to give you a better idea about the game and to help you familiarize with them.

Information

During the game, while you will be playing, a total of four random distractions will be there for your disadvantage. Some of the times, the figure you will be looking forward will be a shadow so that you will have a harder time finding it. Some other times, the targets will be small sized or even upside down to give you a harder time at finding them. Remember that you will have to use your brain, so there is no reason to panic. You will also have an infinite amount of times to restart the game in case you fail, so simply relax.

Sometimes the game will even ask you a question that is the negative way, mentioned not in bold. In this case you will have to find what is mentioned, and to shoot at something else. Some other times the targets will be moving and this can be quite frustrating. In that case, simply be patient and wait until the very beginning after it switches to shoot, so that you don’t risk hitting something else.

If you’re a new Neopets player, your knowledge of the game will be less than someone who have a solid experience. For that reason, most of the time you will fail as you don’t know what the items/pets/petpets names are but you should not worry. The reason behind that is that once you fail at hitting a target, the correct answer will be given for you to memorize. Fortunately, not all the items of Neopia will be presented to you so that you will have a better time memorizing what is there. The more you play, the better you will become simply because it is about experience and less about luck.

Rounds

First Round: The first round will contain mostly Neopets for you to shoot at.
Second Round: This round will contain petpets for you to shoot at.
Third Round: There will be Neopets and Petpets for you to shoot at.
Fourth Round: There you will have to shoot at items.
Fifth Round: On that round there will be Neopets, petpets or items for you to shoot at.
Sixth Round: During this round, the game is called “Which has the shortest name?” and from there, there will be Neopets along with Petpets for you to shoot at.
Seventh Round: Same thing as last round, just that its about the shortest name.Eighth Round: This one contains Neopets, petpets and Items and it will tell you whichh of these ends with x letter.
Ninth Round: Same as last round, but this time it will tell you what ends with x and y letter.
Tenth Round: Finally, this one will ask you which of the Neopets, petpets, items has the most vowels.

Neopets Defender Trainer Strategy & Cheats

If you are going after a super high score or after a trophy, you will have to succeed, obviously. However, the question is how. It is recommended that in order to get better, to just practice so that it will help you become better at it. The more you play, the more you will memorize, the better your reflexes will be, etc. Just like when you study, the more you do, the better you will become. Same thing there.

When in game, put your mouse on the center of the screen so that you will be able to minimize the time you will need to move it to the right spot, whenever a question appears for you to follow. If there is a question which you forgot or you can not find the answer, remember to stay patient. Simply look at them one by one and if you can still not find it, if you have the time, eliminate the choices that are obviously not matching. From there, you will be able to have only few pictures to guess from, thus raising your chance on hitting the right picture. For every 200 points you will earn, you will be given an extra life. If you are someone that is easily distracted, simply turn off the volume on the top right corner.

Clicking on the Judge Hog eye will make you hear a strange sound of laughter, which is not really important for the gameplay. Have fun.

Neopets Deckball

Neopets Deckball is a game that comes of Mr. Roboto where many difficulties will be presented to you. Neopets Deckball will give you the opportunity to admire one of the oldest games on Neopets so far, and it is also a great game for soccer fans.

c-82-1164179

Gameplay

During the Survival Mode game, you will be able to pick your character, which is the Mirgle or the Pawkeet for a soccer match. You will have to use the arrow keys that are located on your keyboard to control the players. From there, you will be able to make a goal through the opponents goal, past the goalie. Unlike Yooyuball, this game does not have a time limit. However, don’t make false hopes, the computer is quite hard in this game and if you haven’t managed to score, your opponent will usually score on yours in half a minute.

During the Timed game, you will be given a total of three minutes to score against the computer, just like the time given to you in Yooyuball. This is doable, as there is a lot of time on your hands. Be careful though, as the computer will want to score against you and don’t under estimate him.

A total of five different goals will have to be scored before the computer, or you, win. As for the Neopoints, it all depends on your quickness. The quickest you are to score goals, the more Neopoints you will earn, which should motivate you a bit.

24_pirate-6328688

Ingame Random Events

Few powerups will come in as random events, where you will be given a little extra boost. They are usually rare and will last for the round, down to few seconds for you to use. Below is a list that you can use as a guide, to know your powerups and obstacles and learn what are the effects they will provide.

The first powerup is the one with a pirate picture that will make your petpet slow down. Only your petpet, though, not the other ones.

The second picture that looks like a white clock will give you extra speed, which means that your petpet will become quicker.

Barriers will sometimes appear on your boat, which will prevent you from moving. They are there most likely for the whole round and you will not be able to do anything to remove them before then.

Some wooden blocks will appear next to your goal which will give a chance for the team, that is next to the block, to have a better chance to win simply because it will block the ball from entering the goal, giving a slight advantage and unbalancing the game.

Neopets Deckball Strategy & Tips

It is recommended that you play in a defensive way if you’re on Survival mode, simply because the time you will have is infinite, thus you will be able to take your time while playing. Always stay on the side of the field, so that if the ball will be shot to your goal, the Mirgle will be able to prevent it simply because he is fastest on that difficulty. During the points mode, it is the best to play offensively as you will not receive any penalty if the Mirgle decides to score a number of goals, that is less than five.

However, if you decide to play on the Timed mode, your Neopoints will depend on the number of goals you will score, whereas a maximum of 1000 NP will be awarded to you after a total of 7 goals.

Neopets Dar-BLAT!!!

Neopets Dar-BLAT!!! is a luck based game that will require you to shoot at the Darblat petpet on an icy mountain. Neopets Dar-BLAT!!! is the perfect game for you if you’re trying to achieve a good score or a trophy with minimum efforts, but mostly with luck. Just like Splat-A-Slot, this game is similar but will be harder simply because the Darblat will usually slide much more faster.

c-895-2697672

Gameplay

During the game, once you click to play, you will have to wait to see the Darblat appear on your screen. He will slide with speed, so most of the time you will not have time to press the space bar to shoot at him. You will most likely not be able to successfully hit him within your first shoot, so it may take you several tries there. If you’re one of these people who have quick reflexes, let away the luck for now, then this is the game for you. Remember that even with that, it is hard for you to actually hit the Darblat.

You will be presented with a screen where the Darblat will come sliding from the top left corner of the screen, and you will have much less than a second to hit him. It’s approximately 0.3 seconds, which makes it difficult to have a chance even with reflexes. Most of the time you will have to shoot before he arrives in order to hit him.

3-6169850

Points

Points are rewarded for your quickness and for your speed. You will earn more points if you are able to hit the part that goes past the cannon at first. The Darblat wil sometimes slide past your cannon while hes on the stomach. That means the Darblat will usually appear through different positions, and his heads will award you the most points. This is another reason that makes this game based about luck. You can not predict the postion of the Darblat, and once you hit him your score will be sent automatically. Usually the Darblat, after pressing the start button, will appear from 2 to 20 seconds.

Sometimes the Phantom Orange Shirt Guy will appear when the Game is over, and will decide behind the Darblat. He doesn’t appear often, so you might want to admire him when you have the chance.

4-8738630

Neopets Dar-BLAT!!! Strategy & Cheats

There is no really cheats for this game, as the game is mostly based on luck. It is better if you use a slow computer, simply because you will have more time, by a fraction of second, to hit the Darblat himself. Unlike Splat-A-Slot, if you press the space bar by accident at the very beginning of the start, you will not be unable to play further and thus having to refresh the game. For that reason, if you’re badly looking to score, simply keep starting the game and shooting after ~2 seconds but note that this will be very boring. You might want to shoot before the Darblat appears. The maximum number of points you can successfully earn from this game is 600, which is difficult unless you’re extremely lucky. Good luck.

Neopets Bruno’s Backwoods Breakaway

Neopets Bruno’s Backwoods Breakaway is a haunted game that takes place in the Haunted Woods where you will have to play as Bruno, who is a spooky Gelert from the Tale of Woe, if you have ever played this plot. Your main job in this game is to collect potions and to be able, alive, to bring them back to Sophie. Neopets Bruno’s Backwoods Breakaway will make you face different angry Neovians that can be looked at as enemies because they will take a life from you if you touch them.

c-734-1972586

Gameplay

First of all, you should know that a maximum score of 5180 can be obtained if you are able to master it and do it in the perfect possible way. Later, you will be able to use our guides to help you achieve that score if you’re aiming for a trophy or a super high score. Fortunately, this score is enough for you to get a gold trophy, if you’re on the top 100 on the high score table.

During the game, you will have to face enemies that you will harm you and take a life from you. The enemies can be an Ixi, a Wocky, some of them are Kacheeks and lastly, Techos. Below is a short description for each of these enemies to help you identify them in the best possibly way.

The Ixi is not very hard to avoid, because it will almost never jump. It will only be walking between a set of two potions and will make your job harder. Simply avoid it, it is not very mean.

The Wocky is a tall yellow “spaghetti” that can be easily located because it is tall. He will throw rocks at you, almost always, but he will remain on the platform he is currently on. Because he is tall, sometimes you will have a hard time jumping past him (but it will get easier the more you play).

The Kacheek will also throw rocks at you, but he has the ability to leave the platforms. The Kacheek looks like a green monkey. Sometimes you will think that you are safe, but he will suddenly fall from the higher platform that he starts on. For that reason, you will have to watch out for this little guy.

Lastly, the Techo will act the same way as the Kacheek, previously mentioned. He will be able to throw rocks at you and leave the platforms (he can jump just like the Kacheek). If you meet on of those, try to avoid them and find the potions further to avoid losing a life.

Controls

To control Bruno, you will have to use the left button key and the right one that are located on your keyboard. These will make Bruno move, respectively, to the left and to the right. If you press the up arrow key, Bruno will jump and by pressing the down keys, he will be able to look up (so you will be able to see if there is a treat on the upper platforms). If you press the P key, you will be able to pause the game to take a small break, etc. If you get hit by a rock or if you touch an enemy, you will immediately lose a life.

There will be also living trees that start appearing from the 3rd level and so on. If you are near them, you will be able to jump on their branches by using the space bar. Always watch out for rocks, though, because you are never safe.

screenshot_fullsize_734_3_v1-9265347

Advice

While playing Neopets Bruno’s Backwoods Breakaway, it is a fundamental aspect to not run quickly. You will have to move slowly, as it is the best way to keep all of your lives (if you’re going after the maximum score of 5180). Some enemies will throw rocks at you and it will not be too hard if you move slowly. Also, in the latter levels they will be harder to escape, but stay slow and everything will be fine for you.

Score & Points

A maximum score of 5180 can be obtained through the game, but for that, you will have to collect all of the potions, on all of the levels, and to bring them all at the same time to the cave, meaning that you will have to do it all at once. Fortunately, you will not have to keep all of your lives if you want to achieve this score, but it is important to not bring the potions separately. If you do so, you will get 5 total points for the first one you bring to the cave, 10 for the second, 25 for the third, 50 points for the fourth which will total 100 points. If you bring all of the potions but one, a total of 90 points will be awarded and 5 for the last one because it will be counted as the first one. Don’t forget that all of the potions will have to be brought at the same time, to the cave, for the maximum amount of points.

Below there will be a small guide that will describe each of the levels, along with the number of potions needed and the maximum score you will be able to get from the round. If you’re going after the 5,180 score, it is recommended that you get the exact same score written below, otherwise you will not receive all of these.

For the first level, the Backwoods, you will have to bring a total of 5 potions to the cave. If you manage to bring them all at the same time, you will be given a maximum score number of 190 points for the current level.

For the second level, Haunted Hunt, you will have to bring a total of 5 potions to the cave. If you manage to bring them all at the same time, you will be given a maximum score number of 380 points for the current level.

For the third level, the Amazing Maze, you will have to bring a total of 5 potions to the cave. If you manage to bring them all at the same time, you will be given a maximum score number of 570 points for the current level. On that level, the Kacheek will start appearing.

For the fourth level, the Hide-n-Seek, you will have to bring a total of 6 poitons to the cave. If you manage to bring them all at the same time, you will be given a maximum score number of 860 points for the current level.

For the fifth level, the Gauntlet, you will have to bring a total of 6 potions to the cave. If you manage to bring them all at the same time, you will be given a maximum score number of 1150 points. On that level, Techos will start appearing.

For the sixth level, Treetop Terror, you will have to bring a total of 7 potions to the cave. If you manage to bring them all at the same time, you will be given a maximum score number of 1540 points.

For the seventh level, the Neovian Nightmare, you will have to bring a total of 8 potions to the cave. If you manage to bring them all at the same time, you will be given a maximum score number of 2030 points.

For the eighth level, the Point of No Return, you will have to bring a total of 9 potions to the cave. If you manage to bring them all at the same time, you will be given a maximum score number of 2620 points.

For the ninth level, the Corridor Chaos, you will have to bring a total of 9 potions to the cave. If you manage to bring them all at the same time, you will be given a maximum score number of 3210 points.

For the tenth level, the Platform Panic, you will have to bring a total of 10 potions to the cave. If you manage to bring them all at the same time, you will be given a maximum score number of 3900 points.

For the eleventh level, The Tunnels, you will have to bring a total of 10 potions to the cave. If you manage to bring them all at the same time, you will be given a maximum score number of 4590 points. On that level, there is not a single Kacheek, nor a single Techo.

For the twelfth level, the Chamber of Horrors, you will have to bring a total of 9 potions to the cave. If you manage to bring all of them at the same time, you will be given a maximum score number of 5180, which is the absolute maximum.

Note: on level 8, there will be a completely hidden potion that will not be available for you to reach if you don’t follow these instructions: Drop all the way from the left ledge and press the Bruno on the wall so that he can stand inside of it. After that repeat until you get it done. If you fail, simply try again, it is simple.

Neopets Bruno’s Backwoods Breakaway Strategy & Cheats

Always try to avoid rocks and never come directly towards your enemies. You will want to keep a short distance, at least, so that you don’t lose a life. If there is a potion you want, but you feel that you are in an uncomfortable position, simply don’t grab it. Instead, drop down and go through another path all the way to it, again. You will want to move slowly but surely, because this game is known to scare people simply because enemies will almost “pop” out of no where. Stay careful. If you’re going after the 5180 points score, which is the highest possible, you will have to bring all of the potions at the cave, at once (not separately). High score tables are always reset at the first day of the month, but usually there is not that many people in the top 100 and you will be able to get a spot there, along with a shiny trophy if you manage to do so. Good luck and have fun!
