This now retired Neopets ‘Caption Contest – Funny’ avatar was awarded to everyone who won a 100th edition of the Caption Contest (100th, 200th, 300th etc.) The Caption Contest is no longer running however, giving this avatar the retired status.

This now retired Neopets ‘Darigan Redeemed’ avatar was awarded in 2004 for those who participated in both the Champions of Meridell war and then the Battle for Meridell. You must have fought for Darigan in the former, and merely only participated in the latter.

This now retired Neopets ‘BFM – Squished Spiders’ was awarded during the 2004 plot, Battle For Meridell. The avatar required users to defeat at least one Gigantic Spyder.

This Neopets ‘IOM Moehog’ avatar is now retired, as the game Invasion of Meridell is no longer active on Neopets. Previously however, it was awarded upon winning Mission 7, Battle 3 within the same month as the game began.

This Neopets ‘Plushie Nova’ avatar was only given out on two days, May 31, 2004 and September 29, 2005. The avatar required the user to visit the McDonald’s Daily Giveaway and collect the prize.
