Neopets S.M.E.L.T.

Neopets S.M.E.L.T. is one of the most challenging yet rewarding games in Neopia. As a budding blacksmith, your task is to smelt metal pieces into specific shapes to satisfy demanding clients, all under the relentless pressure of a ticking timer. While the game might seem simple on the surface, its fast-paced mechanics and unforgiving time limits make it one of the more intense games to master. With practice, strategic thinking, and the tips in this guide, you’ll be well on your way to dominating the forge and earning some shiny rewards.

Neopets Smelt

S.M.E.L.T. Gameplay Basics

At its core, S.M.E.L.T. is a puzzle game that tests your speed, accuracy, and ability to think under pressure. The gameplay revolves around completing orders from various Neopians, requiring you to cut and smelt metal pieces into the correct shapes. Let’s break down the essentials.

  1. Understanding the Controls:
    • Mouse Click (Left Button): Use this to select and place the pieces of metal on the workspace.
    • Space Bar: After arranging the pieces, hit the space bar to confirm your placement.
    • Rotation Keys (Z and X): These rotate pieces. Z rotates to the right, while X rotates to the left. However, rotation is often unnecessary and can waste precious time.
  2. The Timer:
    • Each level gives you a limited amount of time to complete your task. As you progress through the game, the time allowance shrinks, adding to the challenge.
    • The timer stops temporarily when you activate the SMELT Button, giving you a chance to reset the workspace without worrying about losing seconds.
  3. The SMELT Button:
    • Found at the bottom of the screen, this button clears the workspace by processing the metal pieces you’ve placed.
    • Free SMELTs: Some levels grant free uses of the SMELT button, allowing you to reset the workspace without penalty.
    • Paid SMELTs: If you run out of free SMELTs, using this button will cost you valuable time.
  4. Unlimited Lives:
    • One of the game’s forgiving aspects is the unlimited lives system. You can retry a level as many times as you want without penalty.
  5. Level Progression:
    • The game is divided into categories, each with increasing difficulty. As you move through the levels, you’ll encounter larger, more complex pieces and tighter time limits. In the most advanced stages, you’ll only have a single second to complete the level, making precision and planning critical.

How to Play Neopets S.M.E.L.T.

When you start a round, a client will appear with a specific request: they want a certain number of pieces shaped and smelted. Your job is to fulfill their order by arranging the pieces in the designated workspace and pressing the SMELT Button to process them.

  • Placing Pieces:
Begin by quickly assessing the pieces provided and placing them on the workspace without rotating them (more on this later).
  • Managing the Workspace:
As you progress through the game, the screen may not have enough space to fit all the pieces. This is where the SMELT Button comes in handy. Using it clears the current pieces from the workspace, allowing you to continue placing new ones.
  • Checking Free SMELTs:
Before starting a round, check how many free SMELTs you have available. This information is crucial for planning how you’ll approach the level.

Advanced Neopets SMELT Gameplay Strategies

Neopets S.M.E.L.T. is not just about quick reactions—it also rewards smart strategies and preparation. Here’s how to master the forge:

1. Avoid Rotating Pieces

  • Rotating pieces with the Z or X keys may seem like a good idea, but it often does more harm than good. Each rotation costs valuable time, and in a game where every second counts, this can mean the difference between success and failure.
  • Instead, learn to work with pieces in their default orientation. This will save time and keep the game moving at a fast pace.

2. Use Free SMELTs Wisely

  • Free SMELTs are a lifesaver, especially in levels where the workspace becomes overcrowded. Use them strategically to clear pieces that block your progress.
  • Avoid wasting free SMELTs on trivial placements. Save them for moments when they’re truly necessary.

3. Plan Your Moves in Advance

  • When you start a level, take a moment to analyze the pieces and visualize how they’ll fit together on the workspace.
  • If a level is too challenging, take advantage of the unlimited lives system to memorize the piece configurations and plan a better strategy for your next attempt.

4. Understand When to Use Paid SMELTs

  • Paid SMELTs, which consume time from the clock, should only be used as a last resort. Levels that don’t grant free SMELTs are always designed to be completed without them.

5. Master the Categories

  • Each category introduces new challenges, from larger pieces to tighter time constraints. Focus on mastering each category’s mechanics before moving to the next.

6. Take Advantage of Unlimited Lives

  • Use the unlimited lives feature to your advantage. If you’re stuck on a level, restart and experiment with different approaches. Learning from failed attempts is part of the process.

Overcoming Advanced Challenges

In the later stages of Neopets S.M.E.L.T., the difficulty ramps up significantly. Here’s how to handle the most challenging aspects:

  • Tight Time Limits:
    • In the final stages, you’ll often have only one second to complete the level. Success at this point relies on flawless execution and memorization of piece placements.
  • Larger Pieces:
    • As pieces become larger, efficient use of the workspace becomes even more critical. Prioritize placing smaller pieces first to leave room for larger ones.
  • Limited SMELTs:
    • When free SMELTs are scarce, focus on completing as much of the order as possible before using the button. This minimizes the time lost when clearing the workspace.

Final Thoughts

Neopets S.M.E.L.T. may feel overwhelming at first, but with patience and practice, it transforms into a rewarding and enjoyable experience. The key to mastering this game lies in staying calm under pressure, thinking strategically, and making the most of the tools at your disposal.

Neopets S.M.E.L.T.

Remember: unlimited lives mean you can experiment and retry levels without fear of failure. Take your time to learn the mechanics, develop your strategies, and smelt your way to victory. Good luck, and may the forge be with you!

Neopets Swarm – The Bugs Strike Back

Neopets Swarm – The Bugs Strike Back is a game for bug haters who have always dreamed about starting a war with bugs, because they simply hate and can not stand them. Neopets Swarm – The Bugs Strike Back will give you the opportunity to train your skills that consist about aiming moving objects, which in the game of Neopets Swarm – The Bugs Strike Back are the bugs themselves that will do no more than harm to you. Neopets Swarm – The Bugs Strike Back is also a game that is located in the Lost Desert and you know just like every one else that it is in the Desert where many of the hatred insects types can be found.

Swarm - The Bugs Strike BackSwarm – The Bugs Strike Back Gameplay

During the game of Neopets Swarm – The Bugs Strike Back, You will be playing as a a yellow Wocky that is the guy who wants to eradicate many thousands of bugs of the Lost Desert. They will be insect that will be shooting at you, so you will not want to let them take the win.

The Wocky can receive power ups from the game from where he will be able to increase the speed of the tank he will be using in order to eradicate the bugs, and from that it will make sure that you succeed at killing them. These can also increase the size of the missile to give you a better advantage when you decide to play Neopets Swarm – The Bugs Strike Back. The bugs will be also able to launch fireballs at you to give you a harder time to kill them, and for that reason you will want to read what comes next carefully.

In order to move the Wocky, you will have to know that he will be using a tank. From there you will be able to press the right arrow key that is located on your keyboard along with the left arrow key that is also located there. There are really the only two arrow keys that you will need, as the game is in two dimensions itself and there will be no way to go up to the north and meet the bugs, or to leave the game by pressing the down arrow key. For that reason you should not try doing that.

In order to make the Wocky successfully fire at the bugs, you will have to press the space bar that is located on your keyboard. When you will fire a missile, that missile will either leave the screen from the top of the game or alternatively it can blow up once it hits a bug, from where you will be given points that will be added to your additional count. The good part is that the Wocky will not be running out of missiles, which means that you will be able to shoot as many times as you want (at the bugs, of course, not at the protection that is provided to you, and that will be explained later).

Bugs

In the game, you will see that the swarm that is filled with insect contain a total of two types of bugs which are red and green. The red bugs will be offensive whereas the green ones will be going defensive. They will be able to shoot at you many fireballs that you will have to dodgeg. Make sure that you know the green bugs are different than the red ones, because they will fly once they will be hitting the edge of the gaming screen.

When the bugs are in a group like at the start of the round, it can be pretty difficult to get rid of them but make sure that you always shoot at them because you will want to get rid of these. The bugs will be able to attack you in different waves, which are separated in a total of 10. Every time the wave will increase, you will notice that the number of the red bugs will also increase.

Swarm Power Ups

During the game, you will also be able to receive power ups in order to kill the bugs in a better and more effective way. There power ups can come from the bugs that you will be able to eradicate when you successfully get rid of them. After that, you will notice that there are good power ups that will drop just like there are bad ones that can drop.

The power ups can be quite different and hard to memorize, since they will look the same. However, we have set a short list below that you will be able to read in order to learn about them and hopefully to memorize them.

The first one is the circle with a + sign of the green color. This power up is good because it will let you move faster with your tank. You will want to actually move faster because remember that the bugs will also be able to shoot at you and therefore you will want to dodge their fireballs quickly enough so that you do not get hit.

The second power up is the circle with a – sign that is of the pink color. This one is bad and you do not actually need it because it will make the tank slower. Contrary to what have been previously said, if your tank is slower you will have a hard time to dodge the missiles that will come from the bugs. For that reason, you will want to make sure that if this one falls off from a bug, that you avoid it at any cost because you will then increase your risk of losing the current game.

The power up that is a blue circle with a 0 of the grey color inside of it will make sure that your tank becomes bigger. You will not want to grab this one as it is bad. Having this power up will make sure that your tank become bigger and therefore it will be harder for you to dodge the missiles of your opponents the bugs simply because your size will be too big. If the block of walls that are in front of you are also being shot at, you will have even a harder time escaping from your current location. For that reason, you will want to avoid this power up at any cost as it will do more harm to you (well, to the Yellow Wocky)

Another power up is the grey circle that has two red arrows on it. This one is perfect for you as it will be able to decrease the size of the Yellow Wocky in order to make him smaller. This way, you will be able to dodge the missiles of the bugs in a more effective way, since your size will be much more smaller. You will be able to be good if you have this power up. It is also a nice power up because if the wall block that serves as a protection is currently being destroyed, you will be able to escape from that place quite effectively.

After that comes the AP Slugs which are also power ups. They will be able to let you shoot missiles that can give you a slight advantage for your own. For example if you come across the circle that has a blue and white bar on it, grabbing it will be able to make your shooting missiles transform into a powerful laser that will be able to eradicate a row of bugs at a time, if you manage to shoot correctly. Another example is the red circle that has a circle white and blue smaller circle on it that will be able to provide a shield for you. This way, if a bug hits you, the shield will be able to protect you in addition to the protection that is provided from the wall blocks, which gives you another boost in advantage.

For that reason, you will want to consider the AP Slugs bonuses that will also drop from the bugs.

Swarm - The Bugs Strike Back

Your Accuracy

It is important to consider having a good accuracy, which is a fundamental part of the game. The accuracy will be able to determine your score that will be achieved by the end of the game. You will be able to collect a lot of points depending of your accuracy.

You will start the game where you will have a tank and a Wocky that is on it. You will be able to earn a total of 3 points for every bug that you successfully strike. If you manage to hit another red bug, you will be given a total of 13 points. Make sure that you do not miss, though, because otherwise the points will go back to 7 points per bug, so you will have to make sure that it is consecutive if you are aiming for a super high score or for a trophy. Below is a short list that will tell you how many points you will be awarded for each bug that is destroyed in X place.

If you are successfully able to destroy your first bug, you will be given a total of 3 points that will be added to your additional count.

If you are successfully able to destroy your second bug, you will be given a total of 13 points that will be added to your additional count. Make sure that you do not miss it because otherwise it will not grant as many points.

If you are successfully able to destroy your third bug, you will be given a total of 13 points that will be added to your additional count. Make sure that you do not miss it because otherwise it will not grant as many points.

If you are successfully able to destroy your fourth bug, you will be given a total of 13 points that will be added to your additional count. Make sure that you do not miss it because otherwise it will not grant as many points.

If you are successfully able to destroy your fifth bug, you will be given a total of 13 points that will be added to your additional count. Make sure that you do not miss it because otherwise it will not grant as many points.

*NOW YOU FIRE AND MISS YOUR SHOT, WHAT HAPPENS?*

If you are successfully able to destroy your sixth bug, you will be given a total of 7 points that will be added to your additional count. Make sure that you do not miss it because otherwise it will not grant as many points.

If you are successfully able to destroy your seventh bug, you will be given a total 7 of points that will be added to your additional count. Make sure that you do not miss it because otherwise it will not grant as many points.

If you are successfully able to destroy your eighth bug, you will be given a total of 7 points that will be added to your additional count. Make sure that you do not miss it because otherwise it will not grant as many points.

If you are successfully able to destroy your ninth bug, you will be given a total of 7 points that will be added to your additional count. Make sure that you do not miss it because otherwise it will not grant as many points.

If you are successfully able to destroy your tenth bug, you will be given a total of 7 points that will be added to your additional count. Make sure that you do not miss it because otherwise it will not grant as many points.

If you are successfully able to destroy your eleventh bug, you will be given a total of 6 points that will be added to your additional count. Make sure that you do not miss it because otherwise it will not grant as many points.

If you are successfully able to destroy your twelfth bug, you will be given a total of 4 points that will be added to your additional count. Make sure that you do not miss it because otherwise it will not grant as many points.

If you are successfully able to destroy your thirteenth bug, you will be given a total of 4 points that will be added to your additional count. Make sure that you do not miss it because otherwise it will not grant as many points.

If you are successfully able to destroy your fourteenth bug, you will be given a total of 3 points that will be added to your additional count. Make sure that you do not miss it because otherwise it will not grant as many points.

If you are successfully able to destroy your fifteenth bug, you will be given a total of 13 points that will be added to your additional count. Make sure that you do not miss it because otherwise it will not grant as many points.

Green Bug in Swarm – The Bugs Strike Back

The green bug is obviously not like the red bug. If you kill that bug for the first time, you will be able to receive a total of 20 points that will be added to your additional count. If you destroy it successfully for a second time, this time you will be able to receive half of the 20 points, which means a total of 10 points that will be added to your final count. Again, the points that you will be able to receive are half of these if you manage to hit it for the third time, which means that if you do so, a total of 5 points will then be added to your total count. For the fourth try, however, you will be able to receive a total of 2 points and lastly, if you hit it for the fifth time you will only receive 1 points, which is no big deal. If you continue destroying it after the fifth time, you will have to note that no more points will then be awarded to you. For that reason it is best to not waste time on it once you’ve successfully hit it 5 times, because you would have then received the maximum amount of possible points from the game, and no more from that bug will be able to be collected.

Neopets Swarm – The Bugs Strike Back Strategy & Cheats

Make sure that you will want to stick behind a block of wall because you will be able to miss the bullets of the bugs when they shoot at you fire balls. Also make sure that if you’re behind it, you will be able to shoot more accurately on the bugs because you will then be able to easily determine where the ball is currently going to.

Remember that you will want to take your time when you are killing the bugs, because there is no bonus points that will be rewarded to you if you manage to clear the bugs more quickly. For that reason you will want to relax. Also if the sound is bothering you, simply turn it down so that you do not hear it anymore.

Make sure that you also always ignore the green bug that will be appearing on the beginning of the round because you will require skills in order to do so and if you’re a new player, it will be hard for you. For that reason you will want to play several times in order to train more and more, and from there you will be finally able to finish the game in a better way, simply because you have successfully trained. Good luck and don’t forget to have fun. After all, you’re eradicating the bugs, aren’t you?

Neopets Experienced User Perks

Neopets Experienced Users will have more bonuses and an advantage over the new users simply because they should have more experience of the game, and from there they will be eligible to do more stuff.

Neopets Experienced Users are the reason why Neopets has announced that there was an issue that was directly related to the Neopian times from where they were working on it, so that more goodies can come out of it. The NC Mall, the Hidden Tower discounts, the Attic, etc are all goodies and there are even more.

Neopets Experienced User

For the side accounts part, note that TNT said that you will only need one aged account in order to be able to go to the Almost Abandoned Attic and to be even able to visit these places. That means if your main account is, let’s say 5 months old, you will not be able to visit the abandoned attic. However, if you have played Neopets in the past and you have a side account that is 6 years old, as an example, you are permitted to use it in order to go to these places.

However, there are few rules that you will have to follow if you do not want to get frozen.

  • You will only be able to use one account when you decide to restock on one of the two shops, which are the Almost Abandoned Attic and the Discount from the Hidden Tower. When you get restricted for the current day, because you’ve tried too much, you will not be able to use other accounts as this is considered cheating and will get you frozen.
  • Make sure that all of the funds must and will have to come from your main account. That means you will not be able to use your side account to receive more Neopoints as it is not allowed. You will only be able to play for Neopoints on your main account, and all of the NP must come from that account. If TNT notices that you have earned NP illegitimately, they will usually freeze you. If you’re very lucky, you’ll end up with a warning.
  • Make sure that you do not try to change the rules for your own advantage, simply because there is already generosity that comes from TNT and they’re nice enough to even have these things set in place. For that reason, play legitimately and get what you deserve the right way.

NC Mall Information

The NC Mall Elite Boutique is a Mall that has opened its doors on the 24th April of 2008. At this time, only the users who have had an account aged of 49 months and more were eligible to visit the NC Mall from where they were able to purchase items, for example the Neopets Circle Background which is very rare. The items that were obtained from the Elite Boutique were not available to be gifted to other users or to be traded, so they would have had to stick with you.

Hidden Tower Special

Every third Wednesday of each month, you will be able to go to the Hidden Tower to purchase items that will have a three percent discount set on them, that comes from the Queen Fyora herself. However, this discount is only accessible to people who have their account age of 60 months or higher than that.

There is also a random event that will be able to provide a 10% discount to all the Hidden Tower items. If it happens to you, even though you will have this discount, you will not be able to wait for the third Wednesday of the month in order to have 13% off. It will simply not work, it is the three percent or the ten percent, not both put together.

Games

The games is also another aspect where the experienced users will their selves have an advantage when it comes to the games that will be chosen for their favorites. As you already know, when you play Neopets Games, there will be a heart icon at the top left of the gaming screen from where you will be able to click it with your mouse to add the said game as a favorite one. However, depending on your experience, you will be able to add more games.

If your account age is 0 months old to 18 months old, a total of 12 games will be able to be considered as favorites.

If your account age is 19 months old to 44 months old, a total of 15 games will be able to be considered as favorites.

If your account age is 45 months old to 68 months old, a total of 18 games will be able to be considered as favorites.

If your account age is 69 months old to 93 months old, a total of 21 games will be able to be considered as favorites.

If your account age is 94 months old to 110 months old, a total of 24 games will be able to be considered as favorites.

If your account age is 111 months old to 136 months old, a total of 27 games will be able to be considered as favorites.

If your account age is 137 months old and higher, a total of 30 games will be able to be considered as favorites.

Pet Transfers

The user to user pet transfers were very looked after in the Neopian population that TNT finally released it, which made everyone extremely happy. The user to user pet transfers option was added on the 19th March of 2010 where people would be able to send pets and to trade them. For every total of two years that is added to the age of your account, you would be able to receive an extra pet transfer that yo will be able to use. That means if your account is new or less than two years of age, the maximum amount of transfers you would be able to do during a month is equal to two. However, if your account is four years, then you would receive an extra which will give you a total of 3 transfers instead of two and so on.

The transfer does not only mean that you spend X Neopet to X user. That also includes a pet that comes to you from another user. If your account is less than 2 years of age, you will be able to send one Neopet or to receive one. You will be able to send two or to receive two, got it? You will be able to see what was accepted and what was rejected during the month once you visit the transfer status page that will tell you everything.

Below is a short list that will tell you, depending of the age of your account, how many transfers you will be able to do.

If your account is one month of age, you will be able to make a total of 1 transfer for the current month. The transfers include sending or receiving a Neopet.

If your account is 24 month of age, which means two years, you will be able to make a total of 2 transfer for the current month. The transfers include sending or receiving a Neopet.

If your account is 48 month of age, which means four years, you will be able to make a total of 3 transfer for the current month. The transfers include sending or receiving a Neopet.

If your account is 72 month of age, which means 6 years, you will be able to make a total of 4 transfer for the current month. The transfers include sending or receiving a Neopet.

If your account is 96 month of age, which means 8 years, you will be able to make a total of 1 transfer for the current month. The transfers include sending or receiving a Neopet.

If your account is 120 month of age, which means 10 years, you will be able to make a total of 6 transfer for the current month. The transfers include sending or receiving a Neopet.

If your account is 144 month of age, which means 12 years, you will be able to make a total of 7 transfer for the current month. The transfers include sending or receiving a Neopet.

If your account is 168 month of age, which means 14 years, you will be able to make a total of 8 transfer for the current month. The transfers include sending or receiving a Neopet.

Unconverted Neopets are Immunized

This is not really related to the aged users that have experience with the game, but you will have to know that as of April 24, 2007, the Neopets have been changed in color and from there people were able to convert their Neopets or to decide to keep it like how it is, depending if they had the opportunity to decide so. However, since not all the pets were converted, some people had the opportunity to choose to keep the pet that they currently have the way it is.

Since there are many events that can zap the Neopet and to change it, TNT have implemented a feature that prevents the UC (which means unconverted) Neopets to be zapped and changed by random events, like the Boochi RE (Random Event) where he would zap your pet for a change that he / she becomes baby.

Titles on the Neoboard

There are also different titles that you will be able to use below your username when you post on the Neoboards.

The Almost Abandoned Attic

The Almost Abandoned Attic is located in Neovia, where you will be able to visit it only if your account is 3 years of age and older. Having an account that is a minimum of 3 years old of age is required, otherwise you will not be able to access that place. On that shop. you will be able to find many items that are of rarity 80 all the way to 99 from where you will be able to purchase many rare items that can be morphing potions to draik eggs, to rare plushies, to rare stamps, etc. The Almost Abandoned Attic will be restocking trough different interval of time. If you know what is the Neopets Kadoatery, then it is perfect. If you don’t, the Neopets Kadoatery is a place where the kadoaties will require food. However, you will be able to feed them through specific time and if on that time they do not get hungry, you will have to wait another 7 (always up with 7 minutes). The Almost Abandoned Attic has the same rules, so you will be able to visit the Neoboards from where you will be given tips on when it is supposed to restock once again. If you go on that time and it doesn’t restock, you will have to wait another set amount of time, so you will have to keep an eye on the Neoboards for that reason.

Trades

For users that have an account with an account that is less than 36 months of age, when they visit the Mystery Island Trading Post, they will be able to put items for trade, however, a maximum of 10 lots can be created and no more can be done.

For users that have accounts that are 36 months old, or older than 36 months of age, they will be able to have a total of 15 trade lots that they can set up. This is because experienced users will usually have more experience and they will also have more items than new users. For that reason, as of the 8th July of 2010, TNT has made things a little easier for them.

Books

When you read a book to your pet, it will disappear in a puff of smoke. However, for the users who are 24 months of age old (accounts), they will be able to read a book to a pet and to have this book not disappear, but chances are very low for it to happen.

Online Neofriends

Older users will be able to see up to seven online Neofriends while younger ones will be able to so up to five at maximum. The specific age is currently not known to this day.

Neomail Space in the Inbox

Last but not least, users can also have more messages (Neomails) in their inbox depending on the age of their account. The older their account, the more messages they will be able to hold and receive.

Below is a short list that will tell how many messages can be in a user of X aged account for it to become full. This is the maximum number of messages that they can have before the inbox reach its max and can not receive anymore Neomails.

If the account of X user is less than 36 months of age, then this user will be able to receive up to 100 messages (Neomails) before the inbox becomes full. After that, other users will not be able to send messages to X user unless he delete some of his messages.

If the account of X user is 36 months of age, then this user will be able to receive up to 110 messages (Neomails) before the inbox becomes full. After that, other users will not be able to send messages to X user unless he delete some of his messages.

If the account of X user is 39 months of age, then this user will be able to receive up to 120 messages (Neomails) before the inbox becomes full. After that, other users will not be able to send messages to X user unless he delete some of his messages.

If the account of X user is 42 months of age, then this user will be able to receive up to 130 messages (Neomails) before the inbox becomes full. After that, other users will not be able to send messages to X user unless he delete some of his messages.

If the account of X user is 45 months of age, then this user will be able to receive up to 140 messages (Neomails) before the inbox becomes full. After that, other users will not be able to send messages to X user unless he delete some of his messages.

If the account of X user is 48 months of age, then this user will be able to receive up to 150 messages (Neomails) before the inbox becomes full. After that, other users will not be able to send messages to X user unless he delete some of his messages.

If the account of X user is 51 months of age, then this user will be able to receive up to 160 messages (Neomails) before the inbox becomes full. After that, other users will not be able to send messages to X user unless he delete some of his messages.

If the account of X user is 54 months of age, then this user will be able to receive up to 170 messages (Neomails) before the inbox becomes full. After that, other users will not be able to send messages to X user unless he delete some of his messages.

If the account of X user is 57 months of age, then this user will be able to receive up to 180 messages (Neomails) before the inbox becomes full. After that, other users will not be able to send messages to X user unless he delete some of his messages.

If the account of X user is 60 months of age, then this user will be able to receive up to 190 messages (Neomails) before the inbox becomes full. After that, other users will not be able to send messages to X user unless he delete some of his messages.

Finally, if the account of X user is 63 months of age, then this user will be able to receive up to 200 messages (Neomails) before the inbox becomes full. After that, other users will not be able to send messages to X user unless he delete some of his messages.

Neopets Tarla’s Shop of Mystery is a place that is located in the Shop of Mystery, where you will find Tarla which will happen to be a Red Ixi. From there, you will be able to buy a random item that you will know nothing about for a price. It can be a Packet of Gravel or it can be a petpet. All will depend on the luck you will have. The price will be located at one hundred Neopoints, or ten thousands Neopoints. You will have to choose depending of what your budget is. For new users, going after the cheap bag is always an opportunity. However, for more experienced users who have more Neopets with them, it is recommended that they decide to choose the other option, which is about picking the random item that will be more pricey.

Neopets Tarla

Note that when the shop is being successfully stocked, you will be able to buy from Neopets Tarla’s Shop of Mystery each minute and half. You can do that for your advantage, if you are a gambling lover. There are many prizes that can be given from the Neopets Tarla’s Shop of Mystery and below is a list that will have them all. It is recommended that you read this list so that you you were waiting for a particular item to have, and it is not listed, better waste no NP on Neopets Tarla’s Shop of Mystery. This is the same Red Ixi who runs the Shop of Mystery on the top of Terror Mountain.

Neopets Tarla

You might not recognize her at first because you are looking at an older image of her. It gives you a feel of how long ago Neopets stopped updating this link.

Since we can no longer download the toolbar, Neopets has allowed us access to Tarla’s prizes as Tarla’s Non-Toolbar Treasures. Unfortunately, there is a catch: we have nothing to alert us when Tarla comes by to give prizes!

Neopets Tarla Times Today

If Tarla is not going to be here at all today, you will see the message below:

Tarla NeopetsTarla is busy with her other chores today. Check back tomorrow to see if she’s back!

If you see the message below, you know Tarla will be coming by today:

Tarla
Tarla is at the prize warehouse right now. Check back later to see if she’s here!

The message above means that Tarla will be coming by at four random times today, each time within one of four 6-hour periods, to give out prizes. If she has already visited during a 6-hour slot, even the last one, this message will still appear until the end of the day. Don’t let it trick you to keep on searching for her.

Neopets Tarla Prizes

Tarla stays for 15-16 minutes at a time. In the first THREE (3) MINUTES she arrives, she will award you the Main Prize of the day. Everyone who finds her within the first three minutes of any of her visits that day receives the same Main Prize. If it is a Secret Laboratory Map Piece, everyone will receive the same piece. Past Main Prize items range from Books to Paint Brushes to Stamps to Furniture to Battledome items to Food.

When you catch her during that time, you will see Tarla holding a box with many items appearing and disappearing very quickly inside it for a few seconds. Check back for Neopets Tarla Times.

Then, you will be awarded the Main Prize of the day.

map-1721858

Afterwards, Tarla starts to leave and drops some things on her way out. If you missed her in the first three minutes, you have a chance to pick up a random rare item she drops while she is still lingering in the next 12-13 minutes.

After several items appear and disappear very quickly for a few seconds, the random rare item you have picked up is revealed to you.

3-3833506

Tarla visits FOUR (4) TIMES A DAY between the following intervals: She will appear between 10 minutes after the hour to 45* minutes after the hour during the following hours. So, check for Tarla at (all times are in Neopian Standard Time):

Interval Hours
I 1:10AM-1:45AM, or 2:10AM-2:45AM, or 3:10AM-3:45AM, or 4:10AM-4:45AM, or 5:10AM-5:45AM
II 7:10AM-7:45AM, or 8:10AM-8:45AM, or 9:10AM-9:45AM, or 10:10AM-10:45AM, or 11:10AM-11:45AM
III 1:10PM-1:45PM, or 2:10PM-2:45PM, or 3:10PM-3:45PM, or 4:10PM-4:45PM, or 5:10PM-5:45PM
IV 7:10PM-7:45PM, or 8:10PM-8:45PM, or 9:10PM-9:45PM, or 10:10PM-10:45PM, or 11:10PM-11:45PM

Her visits can start 45 minutes after the hour, but they can end as late as 59 minutes after the hour. The time Tarla arrives between each interval is random, except that she will only start appearing 10 minutes after the hour. She will also not appear at the hour of 6 or 12 (AM and PM). The best way to catch her for the Main Prize is to refresh the page each minute during the interval she has yet to appear in. For example:

If you’re looking for Tarla in between 1:10 PM – 5:59 PM (the 3rd interval), you would start refreshing every minute from 1:10 PM (so refresh at 1:10 PM, at 1:11 PM, etc.) to 1:45 PM. If Tarla has not shown up, you start again refreshing every minute from 2:10 PM until 2:45 PM. Then, again at 3:10 – 3:45 PM, 4:10 – 4:45 PM, and 5:10 – 5:45 PM. If you keep checking this way, you find Tarla sometime along the way.

Another way to catch Tarla is to refresh on the Help Chat NeoBoard OR the Game Chat NeoBoard and wait for someone to make a “Tarla Neopets” post topic. This does not guarantee that you will get the Main Prize or any Prize at all, because the user posting may have caught her too late during her visit.

If you have already collected a Main or dropped Prize for the day and catch Tarla again, you will see the message below:

tarla1-1039673
Tarla Neopets says: I can only give you one prize per day!

You will have to wait until tomorrow to receive more prizes. You are not allowed to use your side accounts to visit Tarla as this is earning items. Please, collect items only on your main account!

NeocolaNeopets Neocola Tokens can be found at the Space Weaponry, in kreludor, so after going in the shop that is found there, or by going through Space Faerie scratchcards which are for premium users only.
