Neopets Illusen’s Glade

Neopets Illusen’s Glade is located in Meridell where you will be able to take quests from Illusen herself. Neopets Illusen’s Glade will not give you too much time for quests completion, though, so you may want to prepare yourself.

Illusen's Glade

Illusen’s Glade Gameplay

Whenever you want, you will be able to visit Illusen’s Glade to take a quest. However, note that you will only be able to complete a quest every 12 hours. If you’re already doing a quest for Jhudora, you will not be able to take a quest from Illusen because they are rivals. Completing a quest on Illusen Day will give you the Illusen Doll Avatar, which is available on March 17th.

Because you will not have a lot of time to complete her quests and because the items will get rarer the more you progress, you will be allowed to purchase items through the Shop Wizard to complete her quests. The time she will give you to complete one of her quests is really short. 16 minutes and 40 seconds will be given to you for each quest you take. If you fail at bringing the wanted item before and the time runs out, you will fall back to the first level. In addition, if you were on the High score table, your username will be removed from there.

After completing one of her quests, you will be able to proceed to the next level. There is a total of 50 levels. For the first levels, she will ask you for relatively cheap items that will be found on the Shop Wizard. The further you progress, the rarer the items she asks for will get. At some point, the items will be unbuyables and you will have to get them from other places, for example from the Trading Post, from auctions or from users you know they have them.

An item of rarity 99 will always be asked when you reach the high level of the quests. A good suggestion will be to make a heads up for other players that you will be looking for r99 items during a specific time so that you waste no time when asked for the item. Sometimes, the items she will ask you for will only be on the TP. It is recommended that you Neomail all of the users who have them there ASAP so that you can purchase them. You will have to haggle fast or not at all if you’re looking to finish her quest fast enough. Some other times you will even be asked for items that are too rare, that you will not find any on the TP. In that case, you can make a quick search in galleries trough the Shop Wizard and mail the most possible users to purchase their item, as soon as possible. Remember that you will only be given 16 minutes and 40 seconds to complete her quests.

Some of the items she will ask you during the first few levels can be no-trading, which means you will not be able to find them on the Shop Wizard or to purchase them from other users. These items are Neohome items and they can be found at the Neohomes Superstore. That store has an unlimited quantity of items and you will be able to purchase what you’re looking for in a manner of seconds.

Neopets Illusen’s Quests Prizes

Every time you complete a level, Illusen will give you a prize that is exclusive to her. The prizes will become better the more you progress simply because the items she will ask for will cost you millions of NP (if you find them). The list below will show you the range of rarity for each level, along with the prize you will be awarded with. When you see r#, it means that the item will be of x to y rarity. Note that the items can be anything that exist on Neopets.

Level 1: For the first level, the rarity range of the items you will have to bring will be between r10 and r20. Upon successful completion of that level, you will be given a Illusens Cream Cookie.

Level 3: For the third level, the rarity range of the items you will have to bring will be between r15 and r25. Upon completion of that level, you will be given a Illusens Potion.

Level 5: For the fifth level, the rarity range of the items you will have to bring will be between r20 and r30. Upon successful completion of that level, you will be given a Illusens Comb.

Level 8: For the eighth level, the rarity range of the items you will have to bring will be between r24 and r34. Upon completion of that level, you will be given a Cucumber Eye Cream.

Level 11: For the eleventh level, the rarity range of the items you will have to bring will be between r42 and r55. Upon successful completion of that level, you will be given a Illusens Novel.

Level 14: For the fourteenth level, the rarity range of the items you will have to bring will be between r55 and r63. Upon completion of that level, you will be given a Mud Mixture.

Level 17: For the seventeenth level, the rarity range of the items you will have to bring will be between r66 and r77. Upon successful completion of that level, you will be give a Flower Cake.

Level 20: For the twentieth level, the rarity range of the items you will have to bring will be between r76 and r82. Upon completion of that level, you will be given a Rain Water Shampoo.

Level 23: The rarity range of the items you will have to bring, during that level, will be between r82 and r87. Upon successful completion of that level, you will be give a Rose Shake.

Level 26: The rarity range of the items you will have to bring, during that level, will be between r85 and r87. Upon completion of that level, you will be given a Earth Spell Book.

Level 29: The rarity range of the items you will have to bring, during that level, will be between r88 and r89. Upon successful completion of that level, you will be given a Leaf Shield.

Level 32: The rarity range of the items you will have to bring, during that level, will be between r90 and r95. Upon completion of that level, you will be given a Illusens Earth Potion.

Level 35: The rarity range of the items you will have to bring, during that level, will be between r94 and r99. Upon successful completion of that level, you will be given a Honey Potion.

Level 38: During that level, the item rarity will only be r99. Upon successful completion, you will be given a Illusens Scroll.

Level 41: During that level, the item rarity will only be r99. Upon successful completion, you will be given a Illusens Blade.

Level 44: During that level, the item rarity will only be r99. Upon successful completion, you will be given a Leaf Taco.

Level 47: During that level, the item rarity will only be r99. Upon successful completion, you will be given a Illusens Orb Plant.

Level 50: During that level, the item rarity will only be r99. Upon successful completion, you will be given a Illusens Staff.

Illusen Quest Scoring & Points

If you’re going after a high score to earn yourself a trophy, it is recommended that you know how the points work, so that you will know what to be to find yourself on the Illusen’s Glade High score table. Every time you successfully complete a quest for Illusen, you will be given 1,000 points. You can also get a maximum of 1,000 bonus points, which are based on the time it takes you to bring her the requested item. As you already know, you will be given 16 minutes and 40 seconds for every quest. That means 1,000 bonus points. For every second you lose when doing a quest, a bonus point will be deducted.

Neopets Illusens Quest Cheats

The high score table will reset at the beginning of the month. However, the scores are cumulative, that means you will not be able to receive a trophy after the first day of the month if you don’t start then. Failing a quest will result in being removed from the high score table. If you’re going after a trophy, you should start from level 1 at the beginning of the month and do the quest two times during the day, simply because you can complete on of her quests once every 12 hours. Waste the minimum amount of possible seconds when doing a quest, because you will not want someone else to get it done before you. Copy the URL of the Neohomes Superstore to quickly get there when Illusen asks you for a non-tradable item, that is very common in the first rounds. Also, make sure that enough people are online if you’re going after the famous Illusens Staff, simply because the quest items will be, on many occasions, very rare and not available on the TP.

illusens quest prizes

Lastly, you can earn the Illusen’s Glade Avatar after you complete Illusen’s quest #20.

Esophagor Quest Neopets

Neopets Esophagor Quests are missions that you will take from the Esophagor, located in the Haunted Woods, that is not really friendly. He is a slime monster that is very lazy, with a great appetite. For that reason, Neopets Esophagor Quests is where you will be asked to bring food to the Esophagor by clicking on the “Sure I will find you food” to successfully begin a quest. If you’re looking for a quest, you will not be allowed to have 60 items or more in stock. Thus, you may want to put some of them in your SDB using the quick stock option.

EsophagorEsophagor Quest Objective & Prizes

When you take a quest, you will be asked to bring between one and three Spooky Food items that can be low priced or high priced, depending on their rarity. Sometimes they will cost you as low as ~10 NP and some other times they will be in the 100k+ NP range. If he asks you for an expensive item, simply don’t do it. It is not worth it. A maximum of 10 Esophagor quests can be done during a single day.

Most people complete the Esophagor quest simply to get him as a Battledome Challenger. However, he will not give you an Avatar. His prizes will not be higher than r89 items.

Associate – Brain Tree

The Brain Tree is a spooky looking tree that is also located in the Haunted Woods. The Esophagor and the Brain Tree are associate because when you go to do a Brain Tree quest, you will be asked for information. The only way to get these information is by doing Esophagor quests. You can ask anyone on Neopets, no one will be able to provide an answer. You will have to complete a Esophagor quest to get the answer. As always, it will take more than one Esophagor quest to get a complete question asked by the Brain Tree. Two of them will be required, one of them to know the Date of Death of X, and another to get Y answer. The Brain Tree will also become a Battledome challenger when you complete its quests.

ctp_75-1324650

Neopets Esophagor Cheats

Since the Esophagor will not reward you with an expensive item, never do his quests if hes asking for a super rare item that is highly priced, or after unbuyables unless, of course, you’re ultra rich. If you decide to not complete one of his quests, however, you will have it to end by itself to start the next one. Same thing applies for the Brain Tree, it will not give you super rare items, so you should consider the amount of NP you’re going spend as a “loss”.

There is also a Bonus associated to quests, where you will be given a prize, the Tales of the Esophagor book, after successful completion of Edna, Esophagor and Brain Tree quests during a month.

When you get both of the challengers, the only reason you would be doing more quests is if you’re looking for the Brain Tree trophy, which is all based on your speed to give it the valid answer.

Edna’s Quests (The Witch’s Tower)

Located in the Haunted Woods, Edna the Witch is one of Neopia’s famous characters. Known for her quirky and slightly spooky personality, Edna often needs specific items for her magic spells. Players assist Edna by fetching items in exchange for rewards that include Neopoints, rare items, and, on very rare occasions, the highly coveted Edna – the Witch Avatar. Edna’s Quests are a fun way to engage with the Halloween spirit all year round and give players a chance to earn valuable items.

Edna's Quests

How to Start Edna’s Quests

To begin helping Edna, simply visit The Witch’s Tower in the Haunted Woods and accept her quest. You’ll find that her requests vary widely, often needing a combination of items that can sometimes be a challenge to locate. When starting, here’s what to expect:

  1. Location: Head to the Haunted Woods and look for Edna’s Tower.
  2. Accepting a Quest: Upon visiting her tower, Edna will prompt you with a request for items.
  3. Item Requirements: Each quest typically requires 2-3 random items from shops around Neopia.
  4. Time Limit: Edna gives you a short time to complete her request, usually 20 minutes. If you don’t fulfill her request within that time, the quest will expire.

Pro Tip: Make sure to have a good mix of items on hand or quick access to shops so you can complete her quests efficiently.

Understanding Edna’s Rewards

Edna’s Quests can reward players in various ways, though the rewards aren’t guaranteed to be extremely valuable. However, some items she gives are highly sought after. Here’s a breakdown of possible rewards:

  • Neopoints: A small number of Neopoints is often awarded after completing a quest, although the amount can vary.
  • Items: Edna may reward you with spooky-themed items or basic rewards like food or toys.
  • Avatar: The ultimate reward for Edna’s Quests is the Edna – the Witch Avatar, but it’s very rare. Rumor has it that completing her quests on Halloween increases your odds slightly, but this has not been confirmed.

Important Note: Not every quest will result in high-value items or rewards, so consider each quest’s cost before committing.

Tips for Successfully Completing Edna’s Quests

Edna’s Quests can require a bit of strategy, especially when managing your Neopoints and inventory. Here are some tips to make your questing experience smoother:

  1. Stock Up on Common Items: Edna often requests basic items found in various Neopian shops. Keeping a stockpile of these can save time.
  2. Be Selective: If Edna’s requests involve rare or expensive items, weigh the cost against the potential reward, especially if you’re low on Neopoints.
  3. Use the Shop Wizard and Trading Post: Since you can’t use the Shop Wizard directly while on a quest, use it beforehand to check prices and stock up on commonly requested items.
  4. Monitor Costs: Some players spend too much on quests only to receive low-value items in return. Make sure you’re not spending more than you’re likely to get back.
  5. Questing During Peak Hours: Some believe that certain times may yield better rewards. Experiment with different times of day to see if it influences your outcomes.

Following these strategies will help you complete Edna’s Quests more efficiently and reduce the chance of overspending.

Most Common Items Requested in Edna’s Quests

Through experience, players have noticed that Edna frequently requests some items more than others. Here’s a list of commonly requested items you may want to keep on hand:

  • Pumpkin Cookies
  • Bat Cookies
  • Graveyard Ice Cream
  • Ghost Marshmallows
  • Spooky Doughnut

Stocking up on these items, especially around Halloween, can make your questing experience faster and more cost-effective.

The Rare Edna – the Witch Avatar: How to Increase Your Chances

The Edna – the Witch Avatar is one of the most coveted avatars in Neopets, mainly due to its rarity. Here are some tips that might improve your chances of obtaining it:

  1. Consistent Questing: The more quests you complete, the better your chances of eventually earning the avatar.
  2. Halloween Strategy: Many players believe that doing Edna’s Quests on Halloween increases the chances of receiving the avatar. While unconfirmed, it’s a fun way to engage with the holiday spirit.
  3. Don’t Rush: If you’re only after the avatar, avoid spending large sums on quests. Complete the easier and cheaper quests regularly.

Remember, the avatar’s rarity means there’s no guaranteed method, but persistence is key.

Are Edna’s Quests Worth It?

Edna’s Quests can be hit or miss in terms of rewards, and some players wonder if the quests are truly worth the time and effort. Here’s a breakdown of the pros and cons:

Edna Quest Neopets

Pros

  • Chance for Avatar: The opportunity to earn the rare avatar keeps many players engaged.
  • Small Neopoint Rewards: Some quests give a small amount of Neopoints, helping offset the cost.
  • Spooky Items: Edna’s quests reward items that may appeal to collectors of spooky Neopian items.

Cons

  • Inconsistent Rewards: Not every quest yields valuable items, and it’s possible to lose Neopoints on expensive quests.
  • Time Constraints: The 20-minute time limit can be challenging if you don’t have a well-stocked inventory.
  • Random Results: There’s no guaranteed reward structure, so some players find it frustrating.

Ultimately, Edna’s Quests are ideal for players who enjoy the spooky theme and don’t mind the randomness of the rewards.

Healing Springs Neopets

Neopia is a world filled with magical wonders, and one such enchanting place is the Healing Springs. Discovered on the 13th of January, 2001, this mystical oasis is located in Faerieland, nestled by a captivating waterfall. The Healing Springs is a free source of healing that is offered for your Neopets. Healing Springs effects really depends of the abilities of the Faerie Queen when you visit her. You can happen to get your Neopets fully healed or their HP can just be increased by +1-3. Operated by the benevolent water faerie named Marina, the Healing Springs provides Neopians with the opportunity to restore their pets’ health, hunger, and mood. Marina has devoted her life to harnessing the springs’ powers, both for the magical healing of pets and for crafting unique items from its enchanted waters.

Healing your Pets

sm_caption_700-9225775The Healing Springs will not only heal you, but sometimes you will be awarded with a healing potion that can be used to heal your pet or to be as an equipment for the Battledome. When you visit the springs (the Faerie Queen) and she heals your pets, sometimes she will also be able to make them satiated and not hungry anymore. She is even capable of curing several diseases. September 20 is where the Faerie Festival takes place. At that specific time, she will heal all of your pets to restore all of their points. Some of the disease will require you to buy a heavily overpriced item to cure your pet. This is why Neopets Healing Springs is where you should go.

95_waterfaerie_bless-6728091During few occasions, she will also give you a snowball. Note that what she gives you or the number of HP that will be healed is all random. If she says that your Neopets receive X number of HP, and they are already at their maximum, they will be able to get over healed. For example, if your pet has 15/15 hp and she says that all of your Neopets receive a heal of 8 points, that pet will become at 23/15 HP. Unfortunately, it is not as helpful as it was before, because the new Battledome will not take into consideration the amount of over healed HP you got. It will make them fall to 15/15 again when you start a battle.

Healing Springs Shop

This shop is special because it will not restock. The amount of stock it has is basically infinite, of course, because the Healing Springs are just near Marina. Sometimes you will have to compare the prices before purchasing anything because since these prices never change, the Shop Wizard will sometimes have the same item(s) priced for lower. You can not, however, purchase as many items as you want during the same time. You will have to wait 30 minute to make your next purchase, which means every time you will want to buy something, you will be aware of the 30 minutes intervals. Below is the list of items, placed in their current order, that Marina sells in her shop:

Healing Springs Outcomes

Upon entering the Healing Springs, Neopians are greeted by Marina’s warm welcome: “Welcome to my home of healing and relaxation. What can I do for you today? Maybe I can heal your Neopets, or perhaps you would like to purchase some of my healing potions?” Neopians are then presented with three options: healing their pets, browsing Marina’s shop, or simply exploring the tranquil surroundings.

  1. All of your Neopets gain three hit points. Apologies, but that’s the best I could manage 🙂
  2. All of your Neopets gain seven hit points. I hope that helps! 🙂
  3. All of your Neopets gain ten hit points. Wow! That was a powerful spell! 🙂
  4. All of your Neopets gain fifteen hit points. I’m getting better at this!! 🙂 Result: Your pets recover health based on the number of Hit Points indicated. They can exceed full hit points, for example, reaching 110/100 HP.

https://neopets-cheats.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/springs2.gif

[PET NAME] regains their hit points and is no longer hungry!!! Result: Your active pet is healed to full hit point health and fed to the Bloated hunger level. If your pet had more than full hit point health, the points will be adjusted to 100%.

[PET NAME] is fully healed!!! Result: Your active pet is healed to full hit point health and cured of any disease. If your pet had more than full hit point health, the points will be adjusted to 100%.

All your Neopets have their health completely restored!!! Result: All of your pets are healed to full hit point health and cured of any diseases. If any pets had more than full hit point health, the points will be adjusted to 100%.

Accessibility

The Healing Springs, a sanctuary of magical rejuvenation, has its rules. Neopians can only utilize its powers once every 30 minutes, a restriction that extends to the Healing Springs Store. Attempting to access the Healing Springs during a Battledome battle is also restricted, ensuring that Neopians complete their battles before seeking magical healing.

Conclusion

The Healing Springs stands as a testament to the enchanting magic that permeates Neopia. With Marina’s benevolent powers, Neopians can ensure the well-being of their pets, cure diseases, and acquire magical items. Whether seeking healing after a fierce Battledome encounter or simply enjoying the serene atmosphere, the Healing Springs in Faerieland remains a cherished destination for all Neopians.
