Neopets Spellseeker is a nice game that will require some of your brain skills because you mainly have to match the numbers / letters / symbols for the wizard. Neopets Spellseeker will not put pressure on you by involving a limited time, but the game will show itself very tough. Gameplay
During the game of Neopets Spellseeker, you will be in touch with a Gelert, who is very old. He is a wizard and you are his apprentice where you have to fulfill what he will be asking you. Your main objective will be to create strings so that you can have a minimum of three runes, from the ones that are located on the game screen, and you match them in order to receive more points. In order to match the runes, all you have to do is to use the left mouse button and to select the ones that you want. The three runes must be touching each others. Make sure that this is done.
Below you are shown runes and each one will be described so that you can get a better idea of the game, and from there you become better at them. The first rune is a normal one. This one will be normal colored and you put these together with atleast three matching runes so that you can receive a total of 100 points for each one. You have to match these. Note that the more runes you match, the more points you receive. It is recommended that if you’re going after a super high score or after a trophy, that you select the maximum number of runes that are matched before you proceed to collect the points they will provide.
Another rune is the one that is greenish with a liquid on its top of the darker green. You not want to have this one, because if this one falls to the bottom of the screen, you lose the game and you do not play again from where you left simply because you only have one life and when you lose, it is game over. You have to get rid of them before they reach the bottom of the screen, and for that you have to match it with the other runes that will be near it. You see that the more you progress, the more these will be found on the levels that you reach.
Another rune is the one that will be glowing and will be of the gold color. This one is perfect as it is worth more points, simply because it is cursed. This one is very important if you’re trying to achieve a super high score, or if you’re going after a trophy. The reason behind that is because it will give you extra points. Now imagine that you have many of these, imagine the amount of points you collect by simply assembling these together. Even if you only have one, you match many tiles together and from there this one will multiply the amount of points that will be added to your total count once you claim them.
Lastly, there is the purple tile which will erase the set of tiles that was created by you. You click on a rune that was not used and from there the sequence will be lost, and you have to do it again. It is better going this way than deselecting all of the sequence, wasting a lot of time from you. Use this for your advantage.
There will be symbols just like those that are found on the codestones, if you’re a pet trainer then you should have seen these. Alternatively there are words. There will be many letters that you will assemble from where you will create words, and this is perfect if you’re an English lover. After that, you play with runes that have numbers on them. It is recommended that you use the number runes simply because it is the easiest mode to use.
Note that for the gold tile that you are playing, once you match the tiles, you fulfill the hour glass. When it is full, it is for your advantage because it will then clear the cursed tiles. The cursed tiles are the green ones that will make you lose the game once they hit the bottom of the screen. Alternatively you may want to choose to click on the shuffle button which will make the wizard switch the current set, but the cursed tiles will not disappear. You have to choose wisely.
Neopets Spellseeker Strategy & Cheats
It is recommended that if you’re going after a super high score or after a trophy that you start by choosing the numbers because it is the easiest way to go. Make sure that you do not select just a few runes and then submit them because you only earn few points if you do that. You want to aim for the maximum combination possible. That said, you have to also use the gold runes. When you’re playing, if you find a gold rune, try to find a combination to make it with it. If there are not many combination that can be done with it, for example only three, make combos else where by making sure you do not complete the level and then come back to it later in order to finish it, because more runes would have joined the game then.
Make sure that when you make a combo, especially for the first few levels, that you do not finish the level. Assemble the runes and make sure that just a little bit of sumbitted runes is left to finish the level. From there you proceed to make a very big combo that will earn you a lot of points. Since the game is not infinite and that the amount of levels are limited, if you’re going after a super high score or after a trophy, you have to know that every bit counts.
Make sure that you choose the mode that you are the most comfortable with. Even though we recommend the numbers because we find it easier, you want to choose what you are good at. Also, never forget to use the hourglass for your own advantage. If you really don’t need it, don’t use it. However, when it is fulfilled, if you decide to not use it, it will not be going over the max. That means use it and refill it once again in order to get the most amount of advantages from it.
